Camila Perez is a Brazilian-American writer and illustrator who grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She pursued a career in fashion internationally before transitioning into writing ten years ago.
When Camila became a mother eleven years ago storytelling became a treasure trove: the means by which she and her daughter found a common language to connect, explore and navigate all kinds of waters. It is through storytelling that she has discovered how to make sense of the world and find her place in it.
