Gareth David Lloyd has recently starred in the BBC 3 smash hit Torchwood, playing Ianto Jones. As he gears up towards filming the second series, Gareth talks to us about the pressures of filming Doctor Who’s first successful spin off. Gareth trained at the National Youth Theatre, and his credits include the role of Sebastian in ‘Twelfth Night’ on stage, as well as appearances in television programmes such as ‘Mine All Mine’, ‘Absolute Power’, ‘Casualty’, ‘Rosemary & Thyme’ and ‘The Bill’. He has also recently voiced a collection of stories by MR James for Fantom Films. For cult audiences, Phil Willmott is best remembered as ship science officer Finbow Lewis in 150 episodes of satellite television sci-fi soap Jupiter Moon. As an arts journalist and critic he hosts his own weekly arts show ‘Capital Eyes’ on Resonance 104.4FM. For two years he was a theatre correspondent for BBC London's television news and website, and also for lastminute.com.  He has been a regular critic for What's On in London magazine and BBC Radio's ‘The Lavender Lounge’, as well as a appearing as a guest on many other BBC radio shows including Ned Sherrin's ‘Loose Ends’. Phil is now an influential theatre director and writer, having directed over forty productions around the UK - from Shakespeare plays and musicals, to cutting edge new writing. He is Artistic Director of his own multi award winning theatre company ‘The Steam Industry’, and an Associate Director of ‘The Kings Head Theatre’.
