Beschreibung

Just when I think things will finally get back to normal…

Stop laughing! I really did think that.

Thanks to a large dose of electricity, I’m shocking the crap out of everyone and everything, my cat runs from me, and my friends take bets on who can withstand the shocks when I touch them. To make matters worse, I’m stuck working a booth at a local Ren Fair with the Dungeons and Dragons crowd.

But this year, someone is killing off the LARPers—and no magic spell or roll of the dice can bring them back.

So here I am, in hundred-degree heat—in a costume that shows a lot more of me than anyone should see—with electricity I can’t control running through my body. All that and trying to wrangle in the ghosts of the victims—not my idea of a good time.

And when my boyfriend and I are caught in the Dungeon Master’s maze, playing a deadly game may be the only way out.

    Next stop: Hell. Unless . . .
He was a driven, heartless businessman, trampling anyone who got in his way, until one night when his grinchy-heart exploded. Now, he’s back on earth with a second chance to avoid his fate. His task? To right three of his wrongs. Fail, and he’s not going to like how his story ends.
    All her fault . . .
Carrie Alexander lives a quiet life in a tiny town in Minnesota, recovering from a broken heart and her guilt. She’d been fool enough to fall in love with her heartless boss, and she’d not only been kicked to the curb, she’d brought down the whole town with her. She’s doing everything she can to make up for the disaster she wrought, and she has no time for the stranger who appears at her door on a wintry Thanksgiving night—no matter how angelically beautiful he is.
    He’s going to need a miracle . . .
Healing the town is a relatively simple matter. Fixing lost souls will be a piece of cake. But how the hell can Gabriel heal the woman he’s fallen in love with, knowing he’s going to abandon her once again?

Anyone familiar with H. P. Lovecraft's work knows of the Necronomicon, the black magic grimoire he invented as a literary prop in his classic horror stories. There have been several attempts at creating this text, yet none stand up to Lovecraft's own descriptions of the Necronomicon . . . until now. Fans of Lovecraftian magic and occult fiction will delight in Donald Tyson's Necronomicon, based purely within Lovecraft's own fictional universe, the Cthulhu Mythos. This grimoire traces the wanderings of Abdul Alhazred, a necromancer of Yemen, on his search for arcane wisdom and magic. Alhazred's magical adventures lead him to the Arabian desert, the lost city of Irem, ruins of Babylon, lands of the Old Ones, and Damascus, where he encounters a variety of strange creatures and accrues necromantic secrets.

Stephen Crane (1871-1900) was a prolific American poet, novelist and short story writer. He is recognised by modern critics as one of the most innovative writers of his generation. 'The Open Boat' is probably Stephen Crane's best known and most admired story. It tells the adventure of four sailors, the captain, the oiler, the cook and the correspondent, who are sole survivors of a shipwreck at sea in a small rowing boat off the coast of Florida. The camaraderie of the four, juxtaposed against the individual struggles which each has with his own mortality and the complete indifference in which the universe holds their fate, creates an atmosphere and dramatic tension as they face their last battle for life.
