Beschreibung

Volume 2 of Pray Your Way Into 2017—Grace Edition—for Single Men is for any bachelor who wants to reap the fruit of meeting his parental responsibilities, who needs good health throughout the year, who desires the manifestation of a godly wife and who is interested in doing something about the welfare of his relatives, friends and other persons of interest.

This book begins by addressing the responsibilities a single man has toward his parents. The Bible says in Ephesians 6:2-3 "'Honor your father and mother' —which is the first commandment with a promise— 'so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.'" Fulfilling this commandment is a great secret of success and longevity in life. We examine in detail ways you can honor your parents so that the promises attached to this great commandment can come to pass in your life. After the teachings, we go into a powerful session of prayer so that the Almighty can equip you with everything you need to start enjoying the benefits of practising parental honor.

Next, using examples of real people from the Bible, we explore the essential pillars of good health which require human effort. But since there are times when human effort may yield no result, we also examine spiritual mechanisms through which the Almighty makes good health possible for us. In the associated prayer session, you get the opportunity to pray into your life the ability to fulfill the requirements of good health by human effort. At the same time, there are powerful prayers in this section to help you to seek God's face directly for divine intervention regarding your health when human effort cannot help.

Further, if you are ready to get married, it will do you a world of good to find a woman to marry who is also a Christian, like yourself. The Bible says in Genesis 2:24 (ISV) "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother and cling to his wife, and they will become one flesh." But you cannot become one flesh with someone whose world view, moral core and eternal destination is different from yours. This is why the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:14 (NASB) "Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?" So, what to do? One place to start is by locating in the Bible a woman who was a good wife, then studying her qualities and thereafter praying for the manifestation of a woman in your own generation with those qualities (and other virtuous ones). If you do this and you are successful, you would have already fulfilled a major portion of your destiny on earth. If you are interested in this approach, it is covered in this book.

Finally, if you have relatives, friends and other persons of interest that have real needs, challenges and problems, you should do all you can to help out. However, there are some challenges that are beyond the realm of ordinary human help and therefore require the intervention of a higher power. This book shows you in considerable detail what intercession is [with biblical examples], what it can do and how to carry it out successfully so that your relatives and friends can obtain relief and make progress.

Munich, 1938. Evelyn Brand is an American foreign correspondent as determined to prove her worth in a male-dominated profession as she is to expose the growing tyranny in Nazi Germany. To do so, she must walk a thin line. If she offends the government, she could be expelled from the country--or worse. If she fails to truthfully report on major stories, she'll never be able to give a voice to the oppressed--and wake up the folks back home.

Disillusioned with the chaos in the world due to the Great Depression, he is impressed with the prosperity and order of German society.
