Es Director Asociado de la Filarmónica de los Ángeles (LA Phil), Principal Director Invitado de la Filarmónica de Santiago (Santiago) y Miembro de la Academia Chilena de Bellas Artes.Ha sido merecedor en cuatro ocasiones del premio del Círculo de Críticos de Chile (2013, 2016, 2017 y 2019) y elegido «Figura Musical del año» por «Artes y Letras» de El Mercurio (2017). En su faceta de comunicador y divulgador, creó el proyecto de apreciación musical Ponle pausa y realizó una Ted Talk en Nueva York durante el 2018. Es Master of Music de la Yale School of Music (2013-Hahm) y Graduate Performance Diploma del Peabody Institute (2015-Meier, Thakar). Se tituló como pianista en la Universidad Católica (F. Conn) y egresó de la cátedra de Dirección Orquestal en la Facultad de Artes de la U. De Chile (David del Pino).
