  Nature and art share the quality of perseverance and optimism. Vecchione illustrates this when she says, “Art is optimistic. No matter what emotions a piece of art may convey, art-making itself is a refusal to be plowed under by doubt, political systems, poverty or any number of other things.” She goes on to point out that nature shares those same qualities. “Determined plants push up between the slivery cracks in the concrete, making their leafy way to the light where they thrive. If nature is curtailed in one way, it does it’s best to find another. Over and over again.” She describes how the act of being in nature expanded her imagination, which made the act of doing art more meaningful. When our creative spirit is in touch with the natural world, the boundaries and walls are removed. She believes that encouraging creativity requires both structure and the freedom to imagine. As she points out, “The imagination wants to grow by its very nature and the same is true with nature. If water comes to a wall, it doesn’t pack up its bag and say forget about it. Water finds a way around. Imagination does the same thing. They’re both life sustaining, life-giving aspects of this planet.” Nature, she says, offers us a perfect place to daydream. Vecchione also explains how she and others help to preserve and care for a little bit of the earth, and how we can all do the same. (hosted by Justine Willis Toms)

  In the mid-1930s, North America's Great Plains faced one of the worst man-made environmental disasters in world history. Donald Worster's classic chronicle of the devastating years between 1929 and 1939 tells the story of the Dust Bowl in ecological as well as human terms.Twenty-five years after his book helped to define the new field of environmental history, Worster shares his more recent thoughts on the subject of the land and how humans interact with it. In a new afterword, he links the Dust Bowl to current political, economic, and ecological issues—including the American livestock industry's exploitation of the Great Plains, and the ongoing problem of desertification, which has now become a global phenomenon. He reflects on the state of the plains today and the threat of a new dustbowl. He outlines some solutions that have been proposed, such as "the Buffalo Commons," where deer, antelope, bison, and elk would once more roam freely, and suggests that we may yet witness a Great Plains where native flora and fauna flourish while applied ecologists show farmers how to raise food on land modeled after the natural prairies that once existed.

  Burp Suite is an integrated platform/graphical tool for performing security testing of web applications. Burp suite is a java application that can be used to secure or crack web applications. The suite consists of different tools, like a proxy server, a web spider an intruder and a so-called repeater, with which requests can be automated. You can use Burp's automated and manual tools to obtain detailed information about your target applications.
  Damn Vulnerable Web App (DVWA) is a PHP/MySQL web application that is damn vulnerable. Its main goals are to be an aid for security professionals to test their skills and tools in a legal environment, help web developers better understand the processes of securing web applications and aid teachers/students to teach/learn web application security in a class room environment.
  In this report I am using a combination of Burp tools to detect and exploit vulnerabilities in Damn Vulnerable Web App (DVWA) with low security. By default, Burp Scanner scans all requests and responses that pass through the proxy. Burp lists any issues that it identifies under Issue activity on the Dashboard. You can also use Burp Scanner to actively audit for vulnerabilities. Scanner sends additional requests and analyzes the application's traffic and behavior to identify issues.
  Various examples are outlined in this report for different types of vulnerabilities such as: SQL injection, Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF), Cross-site scripting, File upload, Local and Remote File Inclusion. I tested various types of penetration testing tools in order to exploit different types of vulnerabilities. The report consists from the following parts:

  3. Installing XMAPP and DVWA App in Windows System.
  4. Installing PHP, MySQL, Apache2, Python and DVWA App in Kali Linux.
