  "ديوان امرئ القيس هو مجموع أشعار الشاعر امرئ القيس بن حجر بن الحارث، وهو من أشهر شعراء العصر الجاهلي. جُمع ديوانه في خمسينيّات القرن الماضي من مجموع روايات رواة العصر العباسي وما جاء بعدهم، وقد بلغ نحو 51 قصيدة و47 مقطوعة وأرجوزتين، ويبلغ مجموع أبيات الشعر في مجموع ديوانه نحوًا من 1800 بيت، وامرؤ القيس من شعراء المعلّقات السبع."
