Sinossi

Young George is suspicious when his unloving father announces that he
will be a squire to King Richard III. It is not long before he finds
out that he is really a hostage to guarantee his father's loyalty to
the king. After one failed escape attempt, George believes his tragic
fate to be sealed. He isn't counting on the heroics of his faithful
servant, Robin, who shows he will do anything to protect his young
master. The king's allies are not so loyal and the future of England is
about to change forever.

An unusual tale, based on a real medieval knight, this story is full of Terry Deary's dark humour and dry wit.

A brilliantly-conceived and hugely imaginative 'sequel' to Mary Shelley's masterpiece, Following Frankenstein is a hugely exciting and beautifully-written historical adventure, perfect for 9-12 year olds.

Sometimes I was jealous of the monster of Frankenstein. I grew up believing my father cared more for him than he did for me. And was I wrong?

Maggie Walton's father has dedicated his life to a single pursuit: hunting down the monster created by Victor Frankenstein. It has cost Maggie and her family everything - and now her father is staking everything on one last voyage to the Arctic, with Maggie secretly in tow, where he hopes to find the monster at last.

But there they make a shocking discovery: Frankenstein's monster has a son...

A breath-taking, epic adventure, spanning the icy wastes of the Arctic Tundra to the vaudeville circus of New York, from the award-winning author of No Ballet Shoes in Syria and Another Twist in the Tale.

“Armageddon-averting fun for fans of Jon Scieszka’s Spaceheadz and M.T. Anderson’s Pals in Peril” —from the author of Attack of the Fluffy Bunnies (Kirkus Reviews).

When film-loving twins Joules and Kevin Rockman left their summer camp, they thought their days of fighting evil bunnies from outer space were over. Surely there won’t be giant rabbits bent on world domination at their school, right? Wrong. Luckily, these bunnies aren’t FLUFFS (Fierce, Large, Ugly, and Ferocious Furballs)—sugar-addicted giant rabbits out to hypnotize and kill. Unluckily, they’re worse: the FOOFS (Fierce, Obnoxious, Odoriferous Furballs)—seemingly normal-size rabbits (with extra-large noses) out to take over the world! Can Joules and Kevin save themselves, and their school, from the Schnoz of Doom?

Seriously funny New York Times–bestselling author Andrea Beaty raises the stakes in this sequel to her zany, pulpy sci-fi farce. And, not to use Famous Last Words, but with illustrations by Caldecott-winning artist Dan Santat (The Adventures of Beekle, Crankenstein), what could possibly go wrong?

Praise for Attack of the Fluffy Bunnies

“A lighthearted, clever send-up of zany horror conventions, this book is just the thing for kids about ready for M. T. Anderson’s Whales on Stilts.” —Booklist

“Beaty’s storytelling is lighthearted and fast-paced . . . her unconventional and entertaining narrative make it a wholly fun read.” —Publishers Weekly
