There are over 224 pyramids in Nubia (modern-day Sudan), countless others scattered across China, Cambodia, the Canary Islands, and Mauritius. Even more astonishingly, emerging research suggests pyramidal structures may lie hidden in the Amazon, beneath the waters of the Caribbean off Cuba, and even in Australia and Indonesia.The idea that ancient civilizations had no intercontinental communication before the arrival of the so-called "superior" European explorers is a historical distortion. The pyramid concept transcends cultures, geography, and millennia, pointing to a lost global knowledge - one that modern archaeology has systematically ignored or downplayed. The academic world has long sought to fit these structures into a convenient timeline, one that aligns with conventional historical narratives. But new research suggests pyramids in Bosnia, Peru, Mexico, China, Egypt, and Mauritius may be far older than previously assumed.At the turn of the new millennium, we believed we had mapped out our past, but discoveries on land and beneath the oceans have shattered that illusion.
