Summary

Half Swimmer. Noun. A German term for one who has recently learnt to swim but hasn't yet mastered the technique.

Growing up in 1980s East Germany, as the daughter of an army officer and a teacher, Tanja seems set to become a model citizen of the German Democratic Republic. Except she has other ideas. And so, it turns out, does the course of history.

Half Swimmer is a collection of stories from one life, following a young girl as she attempts to forge her own identity under the social pressures of both the GDR, and the capitalism of a unified Germany.

After fifteen years, straight-laced Brennon Ashworth is finally over his high school crush. Or so he thought.
After his best friend signs him up for speed dating, he inadvertently compares every woman to Molly, the carefree and vivacious girl who broke his heart. Ever since she left, he has done everything he can to make life predictable so he isn’t hurt again, even if that means life gets a little boring. When Molly shows up out of the blue, his carefully controlled life is thrown into chaos, and the masks he’s been wearing no longer seem to fit. She knows him better than anyone, so he can’t hide from Molly like he does the rest of the world. And that terrifies him.
When his pseudo-family, the Davenports, are in trouble, Brennon reluctantly teams up with Molly to find the truth and prays she isn’t lying when she says she won’t hurt him again.
Because he’s as much in love with her as ever, and he’s not sure he can survive another heartbreak.

Too many people loved Kelly Rowland. One of them killed her, but was it the man in prison for her murder?

Gethin Grey is back in the game. His wife may have left him and he's struggling with life as a single father, but now he's got his biggest case in years. The brutal murder of a young woman called Kelly Rowland has been the talk of the South Wales valleys. Even the conviction of a neighbour, a builder called Morgan Hopkins, failed to stop the gossip. There were too many other suspects still around, among them a pair of coppers: brother and sister.

So Gethin was delighted when Morgan's family stumped up the money to pay him and his Last Resort Legals team to reinvestigate the case. But when a new lead takes him undercover into a support group for recovering addicts, Gethin has to confront his own demons.

Moving from the former mining towns of the valleys to the shiny new waterfront developments of Cardiff, taking in adult puppet shows and piercing parlors, derelict mines and country clubs, Grey In The Dark lays bare a world in which sex and money collide and everyone has their secrets.

Stealing from a dragon is bad, getting caught is worse.

Kasper Cobalt is a thief who wants to quit, but his boss forces him to do one last job. He has, of course, heard of dragons, but he isn't sure he believes in them until he's standing in front of a guy who breathes smoke and has weird eyes.

Saxon the Sinful is bored out of his mind. Running a jewelry store on Dragon Row should be pleasing. He is, after all, surrounded by gold and gemstones. But he's also surrounded by humans, and one of them has the audacity to try to steal from him.

After having caught Kasper, Saxon locks him up in his basement. He should kill him, and he might, but first he'll feed him. He looks hungry. Kasper can't hang around and play dragon's prisoner even though Saxon takes great care of him. His boss will kill him if he doesn't finish the job. Kasper is reluctant to betray Saxon, but a thief and a dragon can never have a happily ever after, can they?

NOTE: The Dragon's Prisoner takes place on the same street as The Book Dragon's Lair and Mated to the Fire Dragon but can be read as a standalone story.
