In twelve intriguing tales, she contemplates the difficulties and consequences of choice, as well as the enticing idea of all the other lives we could have lived.

Treadway’s characters form the heart of each story and they are far from perfect. Realistic and relatable, they make mistakes and try to solve their problems. Some situations are a bit absurd, others distressing, but they all toy with the question whether or not alternative endings are possible. We are all responsible for the choices we make but that does not mean that we cannot revoke them. A refreshing read that will give you food for thought!
