Sinossi

When Terry turned eighteen, he became homeless, abandoned by family and friends for being gay. Though it took him years, he has found his feet again. Then, a man from his past knocks him right back down, dredging up a memory of the time Terry stood by and did nothing as that same man was assaulted for being gay, driving home to Terry that he will never be worthy of friendship or family.
Ishmael is shocked, angry, and hurt at seeing Terry so many years after high school. After Terry's apology, however, Ishmael realizes that Terry is hurting and scarred, too. He and Terry become cautious friends. Ishmael wants to help, but Terry is reluctant to trust anyone with his pain, let alone love.
Can Ishmael and Terry get over their past for a future together?

    Donovan
What’s a little marriage of convenience between best friends?
I’ve always worked hard to keep the friendship line firmly in place when it comes to Eric. I’m gay, and he’s straight. We’re best friends and nothing more. But he’s my person, and there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for him. Which is why when I find out he’s struggling financially and doesn’t have medical insurance, I blurt out six friendship-altering words: I want you to marry me.
    Eric
Donovan’s my best friend, the most important person in my life… And he wants to marry me.
Okay, so maybe I haven’t made the best decisions lately. I took a job with no health insurance and no guaranteed money, which was working out fine, if not for the whole getting-injured-and-fired thing. But Donovan has come up with a solution. Marriage. Living together. There’s a small chance we’re a tad codependent, but I always want to be with him, so signing a marriage license shouldn’t really change much. Until the kissing starts…and the touching…and the exploring… And all I know is, I want more. So much more from my husband.
Playing pretend with Donovan is the realest thing I’ve ever felt, and though divorce was the ultimate plan, I’m not sure I want this to end.
Content Warning: MC without medical insurance, discussion on the risks of not having medical insurance, discussion about losing a parent to cancer (in the past).

Years ago, they shared a kiss. Now they're forced to share the screen. A slow-burn, age-gap, celebrity lesbian romance.

Actress Kathryn Johnson can't believe the newest member of her TV show's cast is the mysterious woman she kissed two years ago at a masquerade ball. Worse, she doesn't even remember her!

For aloof, logical Hannah Laine, joining Broken Time's cast is a career milestone. The chilly reception from her infuriating costar? Not part of the plan. But even as the two women constantly clash, they are drawn in by a chemistry neither of them is ready to name.

Now Kat's carefully constructed walls are starting to crumble as she's forced to decide whether to keep her heart safe or risk something with Hannah that feels so right it's scary.

Professor Rhys Davies doesn’t believe in ghosts—at least not the sheet-rattling, chain-dragging variety. But when research for his book on California hauntings leads him to the crumbling seaside ruins of Berkeley House, skepticism becomes harder to maintain.
Especially when the house’s intimidating, tight-lipped caretaker, Sam Devlin, makes it very clear that neither Rhys nor his questions are welcome.
Legend claims that over a century ago illusionist David Berkeley died there, cursing the mansion with his restless spirit. Rhys expects dusty archives and local folklore. What he finds instead are secrets, danger, and an attraction to Sam that’s far more unsettling than any haunting.
Because some things refuse to stay buried—and not all ghosts are from the past.
