Francesc Català-Roca (1922 - 1998), was a Spanish photographer of great renown, considered a pioneer of documentary photography.

His photographic legacy is an invaluable visual testimony of the Spanish society of his time.
His work in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s represented the emergence of new street photography in Spain. He worked alongside artists such as Joan Miró and Antoni Tàpies, immortalizing the art and culture of the 20th century.

By the late 1940s, Hayward achieved recognition for her dramatic abilities with the first of five Academy Award Best Actress nominations for her performance as an alcoholic in Smash-Up, the Story of a Woman (1947). Hayward's success continued through the 1950s as she received nominations for My Foolish Heart (1949), With a Song in My Heart (1952), and I'll Cry Tomorrow (1955), winning the Academy Award for her portrayal of death row inmate in I Want to Live! (1958).
