  Chaos in paradise is a collection of fifty poems that dive deep into the duality of my mind as a person. Even though a healthy garden exists in my heart, inescapable darkness looms over it. Within this collection, I battle with self-identity, love, depression, a desire to escape from the confines of normal society, loss, and the contradictory nature that is me. I wrote this book to free my mind from every insane thought that lives within me and capture it on paper so that it liberates you from the chaos that may reside in yours. I believe everyone is fighting a mental battle under every smile they wear. There might be days when you want to give in to the darkness inside of you, do it. Drown in those thoughts until you embrace, accept, and come to peace with them because the dawn is on its way. And at the end of every moonlit path is a horizon where paradise exists. Owen was killed in action at just twenty-five years old, but his poetry depicting the horrors of warfare remain widely read to this day.
