Sinopsis

A young girl climbs up on her grandfather’s knee, looks up at him with her big eyes and says, “Granddad, tell me another story.” And Granddad is happy to oblige. 
These are the tales of Wayne Sherrard. Some are homespun, workaday little family stories and some are far more dramatic – from encountering the vengeful side of gophers and discovering the personalities of cows to creating a (short-lived) teen pirate radio station and fighting to get maple tree sap. The settings are fascinating rural locations in the Canadian Maritimes, Ontario, Europe, Alberta, and Canada's Arctic. They succinctly capture memorable moments of life for a boy growing up in an air force family during the fifties and sixties and entering young manhood in the 1970s.
