We are all of us, without exception, innately capable of sin. This truth was thrust upon me by a cantankerous ghost when we investigated the haunting of the Saunders house on Livermead Hill. The house itself was a grim construction, steeped in sorrow borne from secrets, anger fueled by lies and the bitter taint of betrayal.
Within its walls lurked a tormenting spirit. He took an instant dislike to my presence and let me know, quite clearly, just how wicked we can be.
This is the ninth book in the Paranormology Series.

Peculiar weather settles over a bustling Texas sea port, a city made prosperous off the cotton trade and thick with racial inequality. As black boxer Jack L'il Arthur Johnson prepares to fight this fierce opponent, the storm closes in. If he can survive the ring and the vicious undercurrents of the Jim Crow south, L'il Arthur will still have to fight his way through the storm winds, the rising flood waters, and the violent night. On September 8, 1900, a hurricane ripped apart Galveston, Texas, killing nearly 8,000 people and nearly obliterating the town. Lansdale's story brings dimension to many who lost their lives that day, and a few who survived.Contains mature themes.

It was first published in The Scot, a Scottish amateur fiction magazine, in June 1920. The Doom That Came to Sarnath and Other Stories is also the title for a collection of short stories by Lovecraft, first published in February 1971.According to the tale, more than 10,000 years ago, a race of shepherd people colonized the banks of the river Ai, in a land called Mnar, forming the cities of Thraa, Ilarnek, and Kadatheron (not to be confused with Kadath), which rose to great intellectual and mercantile prowess. Craving more land, a group of these hardy people migrated to the shores of a lonely and vast lake at the heart of Mnar, founding the city of Sarnath.

"The Profound - Part 2" is the second volume of a narrative spanning many volumes. James Tannot, a young Irishman from Dublin, has no aspirations to become a hero or an enlightened master. His main objective is to enjoy his time as a medical student in Southern France and graduate as a doctor from Marseille University. However, he fails the entrance exam and shortly thereafter meets a peculiar Armenian doctor who introduces him to a secret community of healers called the Cymdeithas. This doctor takes him in and aims to turn him into a healer. Suddenly, James finds himself in a world where magic is as real as a supermarket in the Ordinary World, and where evil is just as real and brutal as the good is humorous and powerful.
During his training with the Cymdeithas, James not only encounters his soulmate, Manush, but also discovers that in this course of study, he must be willing to risk his life.
Manus Braith's novel introduces readers to a spiritual, magical world where enlightenment is approached in a unique way. Sometimes uproariously funny, at other times profound and contemplative, but always with a captivating drive that enthralls and leaves one longing. Clearly not a book for the dull, legalistic, or those who have given up on dreaming. However, it is undoubtedly a book for readers who have always felt that something is missing but could never quite put their finger on what, where, and how...
Fun and excitement are guaranteed. The individual volumes of the story seamlessly blend into each other, weaving a world that refuses to let go easily.
