A new assessment of the Falklands War from the Argentine perspective.

In 1982, the United Kingdom and Argentina fought a war over an historical disagreement over the colonial “ownership” or rights over the Falkland Islands. Within months of the Argentinian defeat, General Edgardo Calvi, then the Argentine Head of the Army Joint Chief of Staff, was instructed to undertake a wide-ranging and formal inquiry to investigate the performance of the Argentine Army during the Falklands. Calvi concluded that while the Army had the motivation, it lacked the organization, equipment, training, and ability to oppose an army capable of operating in a variety of environments. The war exposed political, military, and public weaknesses in a period of considerable internal unrest during the seven years of the Dirty War. Several senior officers who fought in the Falklands were imprisoned for offenses committed during the Dirty War. Secrecy and political disagreements isolated the Service chiefs of staff from the logistic and operational planning. This book tells the story of the Falklands War from the Argentine Army perspective.

When we think of Venice, we think of masks, canals, murals and frescoes, and little “gondoliers” with picturesque boats. Venice, indeed, has an impressive artistic history. But did you know that Venice was also, for a while, a considerably-sized empire?
Although no enduring historic records associate with the creation of Venice, the Republic of Venice's history is typically said to start at 12 a.m. on Friday, March 25th, AD 421, when authorities from Padua established the city to develop a trading center in that area of northern Italy.
The creation of the Venetian republic is said to have accompanied the starting of the church of St. James at the exact same time. Still, the church (which is believed to be that of Saint Giacomo di Rialto) dates no earlier than the l lth century, and no after the mid-twelfth century.
According to legend, the area's first residents were Hun and Germanic refugees escaping succeeding waves of Hun and Germanic intrusions from the mid-second to mid-fifth centuries, who originated from near Roman cities like Padua, Aquileia, Treviso, Altino, and Concordia (contemporary Concordia Sagittaria), and the undefended countryside.
Let’s dive deeper into the history of the Venetian Empire. Let’s find out what made them so unique and successful at what they did.

Rights of Nature laws are becoming a vital tool for addressing environmental injustice. From New Zealand and India to Ecuador and Bolivia, advocates have successfully secured legal rights for rivers, forests, and mountains. Granting rights to nature has the potential to expand environmental protections, strengthen indigenous rights, promote sustainable development, and alter how humans relate to nature. Despite these promises, rights of Nature laws have met with greater resistance in some countries than in others.

Standing for Nature offers advocates a blueprint for creating, implementing, and safeguarding rights of Nature laws. This book looks closely at four examples—New Zealand, Colombia, Bangladesh, and the United States—to explain why these laws have been successful in some places but not others. Through this comparative exploration, the authors highlight key strategies for advancing rights of Nature laws in the United States and around the world. These lessons include an examination of different legal traditions to better understand which is the best form of law—judicial, legislative, or regulatory—for advocates to target; how to ensure effective implementation once a law is passed; and how to shift communal perspectives on the human-Nature relationship for better implementation and enforcement.

This is part of the “Lightworker's Log Book Series” that came into existence in 2008, via soul promptings and after a series of life circumstances designed to awaken the author to humanity's true state. Previous publications consisted of choosing titles, arranging content, and taking vast amounts of time to compile an entire book. These days, books are easily birthed by merely tapping into greater aspects of what may be referred to as the author’s ever-changing consciousness. Publications are now compiled in this way by many more authors than ever before. This book is just one example of material stemming from what may be referred to as a more evolved consciousness experiencing and expressing in a field of decreasing duality.
As segments of humanity become increasingly chaotic while others experience greater states of consciousness, there comes a time when one asks, “Are we there yet?” STUDIES IN CONSCIOUSNESS and The Breath Of One is designed to explain in, hopefully, easily understood terms the vast separation from Source that humanity chose to experience. It is not meant to create further separations of Consciousness by delving into and examining other planets, galaxies or universes, but to explain how humanity got to the point where it is in the later portion of the twenty-first century, and how it will rise above it. STUDIES IN CONSCIOUSNESS and The Breath Of One began to surface during weeks of daily, multiple deluges of water in September 2025.
“Water is the wilderness, the calling, the rally of the soul.”
This book contains what the author refers to as “heavy-duty information,” and as does water contains light codes, which necessitate short bursts of reading material to be assimilated chapter by chapter, allowing time between them for full incorporation.
The return to Source may not seem instantaneous, but it is already achieved, for separation is impossible in the grand scheme of Source.
Read this book to see that it rings true and speaks for itself.
