This 1 hour, 3 actor, 3 scene comedy is meant to be enjoyed with friends around the dinner table after a good meal and plenty of libations.
The premise: The two main characters, Albert and Larry, are 80 year-old twins who have been picking at each other all their lives. They share an apartment, have just purchased a new TV, and are having some difficulty getting it to work. Sounds simple, but things go downhill fast from there and eventually off the cliff when the landlord arrives. The play has a lot of quick back-and-forth dialog so it reads like a comedy routine. It can be performed sitting around the table if someone is reading the stage directions. Actual age of actors is not important.
Minimum props required: TV remote, cell phone, two pieces of paper with Awww! and Clap! written on them, two foldout brochures of any kind to function as TV Quick Start Guide and headphone guide. The rest can be mimed.
If your plan is to perform it onstage, go for it. You have my blessing as long as you credit the work. Posting a review with a pic of the production would be possibly hilarious, but definitely cool.
Reviews: The Lansdowne Times might call Remotely Annoying the funniest thing since sliced bread, but nobody thinks sliced bread is funny and there is no Lansdowne Times. However, this play has been fully tested and approved by 8 brave souls who, shall they rest in peace, died laughing.

My Diary of Failures: The 1980s and 1990s is a laugh-out-loud memoir that dives headfirst into the chaotic, awkward, and hilariously messy life of Kimberly Dennis. Growing up in Brooklyn during the 1980s, Kimberly navigates middle school embarrassments, disastrous family outings, and the relentless horrors of teenage fashion. By the 1990s, she's fumbling through early adulthood with a cocktail of bad decisions, failed jobs, and cringe-worthy dating misadventures—all while trying to figure out what it really means to be an adult.
With razor-sharp wit and unfiltered honesty, Kimberly turns her relentless string of failures into relatable, comedic triumphs. From triggering fire alarms in a college dorm to a Y2K party that ends in total disaster, her life is a series of "what not to do" moments that will leave you laughing, cringing, and rooting for her all at once.
This book is for anyone who's ever felt like they were one bad decision away from chaos—or who just needs a reminder that failure can be pretty damn funny.

Meredith Harper is a successful writer, living in Provence, and needs help looking after her husband, whose health is deteriorating. In "The Innocents Abroad Volume 2" by Mark Twain, the journey continues as the travelers explore the Holy Land and other historic regions. Twain’s sharp wit and keen observations persist, blending humor with critique as he contrasts biblical lore with the mundane realities of the places they visit. Through vivid descriptions and satirical commentary, he highlights cultural disparities, human folly, and the often-disappointing gap between expectation and truth. The narrative delves deeper into themes of faith, history, and identity, reflecting on how people romanticize the past while overlooking its imperfections. Me & Naughty Fridays is a heartwarming, hilarious, and occasionally chaotic celebration of sisterhood, salad, and the sacred art of showing up—preferably with wine.
In this memoir-style collection of Friday night shenanigans, Kerry Anne Boer invites you into the kitchen, onto the couch, and sometimes under the table, where laughter echoes louder than logic and the tassie oak dining table bears witness to everything from meticulous Greek salads to impromptu dance-offs.
Born from the beautiful mess of real life—raising kids, rescuing dogs, forgetting sports bras, and dealing with grief in unexpected ways—this is the story of four sisters navigating adulthood with wit, wine, and unwavering loyalty.
Told through Kerry Anne’s signature blend of humor, heart, and honesty, Me & Naughty Fridays captures those sacred, slightly unruly moments when everything falls apart and comes together all at once.
Because sometimes, healing happens between mouthfuls of tomato and white balsamic dressing… especially when you’ve forgotten dessert but remembered the wine.
    Perfect for readers who love:
✔️ Real-life stories with soul and sass
✔️ Found-family feels and sisterly chaos
✔️ A good cry, a better laugh, and a bit of both at the same time
