Sinossi

Though Yogiri and Tomochika successfully managed to make their way to the mysterious continent of Belm, their success has come with a few drawbacks. As their companions are scattered across the continent, the duo (and their ghostly advisor, Mokomoko) soon find themselves caught up in the extensive warfare between Belm’s four factions. Yogiri’s abilities mean that they are safe from direct harm, but the bizarre system of laws governing the continent have left them in a position where even traveling around seems all but impossible. Somehow, they must find a way to reunite with their lost companions, find the Sage governing Belm, and retrieve his Philosopher’s Stone, all while dealing with the escalating response from the natives to Yogiri’s defensive powers. And wait—how did they get onto this island floating in the sky anyway?

    The Evil Abess
    A Cloister Mystery
The bells toll. The blood dries. The prayers go on.
In the year of our Lord 1123, something unpleasant is growing behind the abbey walls. It smells like murder, sounds like chanting, and behaves very much like a cover-up.
Sister Hildegard has never been particularly obedient. She sees too much. She hears what isn't said. And she asks questions no nun should.
Now someone is punishing sins that haven't been confessed—and the Rule of Saint Benedict offers no guidance for corpses in the cloister.
The abbess says it's the Devil.
    Hildegard suspects something worse.
    Something local.
A tale of sacred rituals, petty power struggles, and suspicious silence, The Evil Abess reveals what happens when the truly faithful stop forgiving—and start investigating.

In The Ecclesiazusae, Aristophanes presents a biting satire on radical social reform and gender roles in ancient Athens. The play follows a group of women, led by the intelligent Praxagora, who disguise themselves as men to gain entry into the Athenian assembly. Once inside, they pass laws transferring power to women and institute a bold experiment: communal ownership of property and even shared access to spouses, aiming to create an idealized egalitarian society. Through absurd situations, sharp dialogue, and comic exaggeration, Aristophanes explores themes of justice, equality, and the nature of governance. While mocking the notion of utopian socialism, the play also offers a critical reflection on the failures of Athenian democracy and the societal role of women. A provocative blend of humor and political commentary, The Ecclesiazusae challenges contemporary norms with Aristophanes’ signature wit and theatrical flair.

Eight childhood mates—connected through golf, friendship, and deep-seated lies—face their betrayals.
In small towns, there is always that group. The privileged kids—the ones who appear to have it all. But beneath the deep bond between the ‘Master’s Eight’ lies deceit. On a beautiful Australian seaside, the Master’s Eight gather once yearly for a round of golf. When a national TV network gets wind of their tradition, cameras roll to create a documentary. Little did the filmmakers know the explosive and devastating secrets this production would reveal.
Through dark humour, the sins of parents and their influence on family dynamics bubble on and off the course. Delving into a world of children becoming adults, the Master’s Eight must face emotional growth and, ultimately, enduring friendships despite the trauma buried for decades.
In Peter Dickson’s debut fiction novel, find intoxicating mystery, wit, unforgettable characters, and a childhood alliance within the pages of The Embedded Lie, as you laugh until you cry.
