CURIOUS FACT SAMPLES:

Jackie Chan's birth name was Chan Kong-sang, which literally means "Chan the [Hong] Kong-born". He later changed his Chinese name to Fang Shilong (房仕龍) to reflect his father's original family name.

Before becoming a film star, Jackie Chan was a member of the Seven Little Fortunes at the Peking Opera School, where he trained in acrobatics, martial arts, and acting. He adopted the stage name Yuen Lo during this time.

Jackie Chan's first major breakthrough role was in the 1978 film Snake in the Eagle's Shadow, which helped establish the comedic kung fu genre. He was given complete freedom over his stunt work by the director.

In the 1980s, Jackie Chan was part of the "Three Dragons" with Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao, starring in six Hong Kong films together. These three had become close friends while at the Peking Opera School and were known as the Three Brothers.
