  Kevin Hart is an American comedian and actor born in 1979. He started as a stand-up comedian and later transitioned into film and television, achieving significant success. He's known for his comedy tours, including "Laugh at My Pain" and "What Now?", which were also released as films. Hart has starred in movies such as Ride Along, Central Intelligence, and the Jumanji franchise. He also co-created and starred in Real Husbands of Hollywood. He is the founder of Laugh Out Loud Productions, a global media company. He has hosted various awards shows and specials. Hart has faced controversy for past homophobic tweets and has been open about his personal life, including his marriages and injuries.

  Kevin Hart's early stand-up performances were not always successful; he was booed off stage multiple times, and once even had a piece of chicken thrown at him. Despite these setbacks, he continued to pursue comedy, eventually finding his own style by focusing on his insecurities and life experiences.  
    
  Hart's first stand-up performance was at The Laff House in Philadelphia, under the name Lil Kev, and it did not go well. This initial failure didn't deter him, as he started entering comedy competitions in Massachusetts, where his audience receptions gradually improved.  
    
  Kevin Hart had aspirations of being a basketball player as a teenager, attending a camp with future NBA star Kobe Bryant. However, he ultimately pursued comedy after briefly attending the Community College of Philadelphia and working as a shoe salesman.

  Together We Can is the inspiring story of an amazing feat. On 1st of December 2024, at the age of 58, Peter Baines set off in the extreme heat and humidity from the north of Thailand to run 1400km over 26 days, averaging 60kms per day. Peter's goal was to raise $1 million. Peter Baines had been a leading forensic investigator with the NSW Police before he was deployed to Bali in 2002 after the bombings, and then to Thailand after the Boxing Day tsunami. It was during the aftermath of the tsunami that Peter started the Hands Across the Water charity. The biggest impact upon Peter during his work in Thailand was meeting a group of Thai children orphaned by the tsunami. Returning to Australia, Baines made a commitment to support these 32 children who were living in the tent in the grounds of a Buddhist temple. The initial objective of the Hands Across the Water was to build a home for these children, and it was this first home that marked the finishing line of the Run to Remember, exactly 20 years to the day of the tsunami. Together We Can is not a story of one man s 20-year commitment to children and communities in need. Nor is it simply a story of physical achievement the likes of which many simply cannot comprehend. It is the celebration of what can be achieved together. It is the celebration of the best of humanity, through what were often the most difficult times.One of the main learnings from this incredible feat of endurance (running the equivalent of 33 marathons in 26 days) was that although Peter was the only person who completed the run, it took a team to get him across the finishing line. The lessons are invaluable for businesses, organisations and sports teams and it is these lessons that remain with Peter (and hopefully the reader) long after the blisters have healed.

  Caterina Travels to Italy is a collection of dialogues that tell the story of a fictional Italian-American woman as she travels to Italy and then spends time there with Italian relatives. The story is a part of the Conversational Italian for Travelers series of books that was created for the beginning Italian student who wants to learn, “all the Italian you need to enjoy your trip to Italy!” 
  Each chapter in Caterina Travels to Italy begins with a brief introduction that summarizes the action to be played out, introduces the characters in the dialogue, and emphasizes important Italian grammar points. We follow the main character Caterina as she journeys to Italy, meets her relatives and their friends, and spends some vacation time at the beach. These dialogues focus on taking public transportation, as well as going to a party, meeting that special someone, making reservations, and eating out in a restaurant. 
  There are two ways to listen to Caterina Travels to Italy, which has been recorded with native Italian speakers and an Italian-American for the role of Caterina. The Italian-only audio for the complete 18 chapters of Caterina Travels to Italy is presented first, and is found on Tracks 3-20. The chapters are then repeated to include the English translation for each line, with Italian first and the English translation to follow.
