Sinossi

Jessica and Travis are fraternal twins, and even after Jessica married and became a hotwife, she never got over her desire for her brother. Jessica’s husband finally brings them together, resulting in more than they had dreamed of. But will Jessica be happy with her husband again?

~~~~~ PG Excerpt ~~~~~
“I don’t know what to do,” Jessica began. “You know I love you, and you also know I love my brother. But things have become so complicated.”
I kept my mouth shut and heard her out. We were sitting at the kitchen table, drinking coffee. Other than us, the house felt empty. My wife was wearing an old pair of blue pajamas with little white teddy bears.
I was in a pair of cutoff jeans and a tee shirt. This was supposed to be a relaxed, get-things-done sort of day, and here it was. It was the least relaxing subject I could think of, so I took the coward’s way out.
“What do you want to do?” I asked.
“I have multiple answers to that question, depending on how I feel and if I’m around you. For instance, ideally, I’d like to be your wife and occasionally spend the night with Travis. Maybe, sometimes, Haley would satisfy me while you watched, and you’d take me to heaven afterward,” she said with a tentative smile.
“Sounds workable,” I said.
“At other times,” my wife looked away from me, her face settled into sadness. “At other times,” she said again. “I’d like to be with Travis all the time, as impossible as that is.”
“Why’s it impossible?” I asked. My voice choked with emotion.
Jessica’s laugh was soft and had an ironic sound to it. “Because he’s too much of a horndog.”
“Jessica, honey, dear wife, I’ve never told you this, but I think it’s time you knew,” I said.
“Knew what?” I could see she was getting ready to snap at me.
“You’re a horndog, too.”
At first, Jessica glared at me, but then her blue eyes cleared, and she laughed. I love the sound of my wife’s laugh.
“Tell me,” I asked. “When did you develop a taste for Haley?”
“Last night,” she answered.
“Was it as good as I’ve always said?” And we wrapped our arms around each other.
“Oh, yes,” she answered with an evil grin. “I wouldn’t want it instead of you, but it makes a nice compliment.”
“Speaking of that,” she said, her hand trailing down to squeeze my crotch. “I’m ready if you’d like a good morning ride?”
I dropped my cutoffs and sat on my chair as Jessica straddled my lap and lined me up. We joined together easily as she lowered her weight on me. For the first time in our marriage, I eased a finger into my wife’s…
    This audiobook narrated by acclaimed British actor Anthony Head explores cuteness and its immense hold on us, from emojis and fluffy puppies to its more uncanny, subversive expressions
    Cuteness has taken the planet by storm. Global sensations Hello Kitty and Pokémon, the works of artists Takashi Murakami and Jeff Koons, Heidi the cross-eyed opossum and E.T.—all reflect its gathering power. But what does "cute" mean, as a sensibility and style? Why is it so pervasive? Is it all infantile fluff, or is there something more uncanny and even menacing going on—in a lighthearted way? In The Power of Cute, Simon May provides nuanced and surprising answers.
    We usually see the cute as merely diminutive, harmless, and helpless. May challenges this prevailing perspective, investigating everything from Mickey Mouse to Kim Jong-il to argue that cuteness is not restricted to such sweet qualities but also beguiles us by transforming or distorting them into something of playfully indeterminate power, gender, age, morality, and even species. May grapples with cuteness's dark and unpindownable side—unnerving, artful, knowing, apprehensive—elements that have fascinated since ancient times through mythical figures, especially hybrids like the hermaphrodite and the sphinx. He argues that cuteness is an addictive antidote to today's pressured expectations of knowing our purpose, being in charge, and appearing predictable, transparent, and sincere. Instead, it frivolously expresses the uncertainty that these norms deny: the ineliminable uncertainty of who we are; of how much we can control and know; of who, in our relations with others, really has power; indeed, of the very value and purpose of power.
    The Power of Cute delves into a phenomenon that speaks with strange force to our age.
    From 1924 till his death in 1953, Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin was a Georgian revolutionary and Soviet politician who ruled the Soviet Union. He was General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1952 and Chairman of the Soviet Union's Council of Ministers from 1941 to 1953. In spite of ruling the nation as part of a collective management, he ultimately combined power and ended up being the totalitarian of the Soviet Union by the 1930s. Stalin, a communist dedicated to Lenin's grasp of Marxism, formalized these concepts as Marxism-- Leninism, while his personal policies were called Stalinism.Stalin was born into an penniless family in Gori, Georgia, under the Russian Empire. He participated in the Tbilisi Spiritual Academy before signing up with the Marxist Russian Social Democratic Labour Party. He went on to modify the party's paper, Pravda, and used thefts, kidnappings, and security rackets to raise cash for Vladimir Lenin's Bolshevik faction. He was usually imprisoned and banished within the nation. Stalin ended up being a member of the freshly formed Communist Party's ruling Politburo when the Bolsheviks took power at the time of the October Revolution and developed a one-party state. Following Lenin's death in 1924, Stalin got control of the nation after serving in the Russian Civil War and managing the development of the Soviet Union in 1922. Socialism in one nation ended up being a major component of the party's concept under Stalin. The nation observed farming collectivization and quick industrialization because of the Five-Year Plans launched under his management, leading to a central command economy. That led to serious food production disturbances, which added to the starvation of 1932-- 33. Between 1934 and 1939, Stalin carried out the Great Purge to rid the nation of declared "working-class adversaries."
Not a Fictional Mum reveals the policies and statistics that led her to campaign for change, and what emerges is a picture of resilience, determination and hope.
    Social and Political Philosophy...
    This book contains these philosophical topics:
    - Feminist Philosophy: Feminist philosophy has emerged as a critical lens for understanding and deconstructing gender roles, power structures, and the ways in which societal norms shape individual identities. At its core, feminist philosophy challenges traditional, patriarchal systems that often position women and marginalized genders as secondary to men. It is not merely a critique of these systems but an exploration of alternative ways of thinking about power, justice, and equality. Feminist philosophers have sought to unravel the deep-rooted assumptions about gender, questioning how these assumptions limit the full potential of individuals and societies.
    - Political Philosophy: Political philosophy plays a central role in the development of societies, offering profound insights into the principles and ideas that shape governance and human relations. At its core, political philosophy seeks to understand the fundamental questions of power, authority, justice, and the rights of individuals within a collective. By examining these issues, political philosophy provides a framework for interpreting and evaluating the structures that govern our lives, from the most intimate social arrangements to the global political order. It is through political philosophy that we come to grips with the nature of justice, equality, freedom, and the role of the state in promoting the common good.
    Proclaim Liberty Throughout All the Land demonstrates that Christianity is responsible for advancing liberty and equality for all Americans.
    Scholars and popular authors regularly claim that Christianity, at least orthodox Christianity, has fostered oppression and intolerance. A common narrative is that liberty and equality have been advanced primarily when America's leaders embrace progressive manifestations of religion or reject faith altogether.
    This book demonstrates that Christianity is responsible for advancing liberty and equality for all citizens. Throughout American history, Christians have been motivated by their faith to create fair and just institutions, fight for political freedom, oppose slavery, and secure religious liberty for all.
    The New York Times's 1619 Project is only a recent and prominent manifestation of the tendency of journalists, academics, and popular writers to portray American Christianity as a force of oppression and intolerance. Without shying away from the ways in which the Christian faith has been used to defend and even encourage harmful practices, Proclaim Liberty Throughout All the Land shows that it has far more often been a force for good.
    When Valerie Maidment was a baby, doctors diagnosed her with hydrocephalus, a condition that causes excess fluid to build in the brain. After the second surgery at age 9, she was declared healthy; she lived a happy, normal life, graduating from high school and college, having children, and buying and managing her own convenience store. Until one day, when everything changed.
    Fluid began to build once again in Valerie’s brain, causing immense pressure that—due to misdiagnosis on the part of multiple doctors—caused her optic nerves to break down. By the time the doctors realized what was happening, it was too late; Valerie was legally blind. She had to re-learn how to do everything, from folding laundry to using a computer to walking up and down the stairs of her own home. Eventually, she was forced to sell her business, leaving her wondering if she would ever work again.
    Through tragedy and triumph, Valerie persisted, never losing hope or courage as she navigated a world that is largely unprepared to accommodate people with disabilities. Told with remarkable heart, humour, and wisdom, From Daylight to Dark is above all a story of perseverance against great odds, offering important insight into the need for accessibility in the workforce for all Canadians.
