Sinopse

Space Baby asks difficult questions about the Earth, its beings, and what lies ahead for them; how do we look to the future on a planet that's burning? How do we come to terms with our grief, and what can we believe in? If the human race destroys what we have, where will we go?
In this dystopian, searching book, Evans mixes absurdity and wit with speculative, serious themes. Here, artificial intelligence and robots will 'cuddle you to sleep', the melting permafrost will reveal its surprises, and we encoutner the very first human baby born in space. Ultimately, Evans writes to acknowledge our responsibilities and interconnectedness with earth and all its lifeforms, as well as to our future generations. These are vivid, prescient poems of existence, and survival, which ask how we can still find joy on a ruined planet.

'Just let go. Let your body float. You'll still be here but it'll feel like flying in a dream.'
Bo is busy – balancing the pressures of work and the needs of her struggling daughter. When her mother, the irrepressible force-of-nature Beth, is admitted to hospital following a stroke, the practical realities of the present collide with the complexities of their past.
Backstroke is a kaleidoscopic and compassionate play, first performed at the Donmar Warehouse, London, in 2025. It was written and directed by Anna Mackmin, with Celia Imrie and Tamsin Greig playing mother and daughter.

A five-star hit at the Edinburgh Fringe, Joe Sellman-Leava's play Fanboy is a love-hate letter to pop culture and nostalgia.
It's the story of a thirty-something, self-confessed nerd – obsessed with Star Wars and Nintendo – asking why his generation can't let go of their childhoods.
Fanboy had a successful run at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2022 followed by a short regional tour and a week at Soho Theatre in November 2022. It was selected for VAULT Festival 2023.

"Luci Shaw is a legend" —Christianity Today
This captivating collection of poems by beloved author Luci Shaw, reflects on daily ideas and activities as they arrive, bit by bit, to illuminate us with their wisdom and enlarge on the meanings of human experience. Like small messages from beyond, these incidents call us to pay attention.
In An Incremental Life, Shaw breathes life into the simpleness of the every-day and finds God in the memory of the mundane. Through her verses, she explores the intricate tapestry of existence, from the tender memories of childhood to the profound questions of mortality. Her poems are like windows opening to the soul, inviting readers to pause, reflect, and savor the beauty of the world around them.

    INCREMENTS

    I live by increments, single

    breaths of an ambient air,

    marking off hours, days.

Apprenticed to grace, I tread statio
    in sequentiae, edging every step

    forward before venturing the next.

    Staggering up towards the stony

crests of the foothills, dusty, I am

almost undone with weariness, only half

believing that the view will widen.

In my falling upward into your home,

O Faithful One, stay with me,

your wind music playing the ear of

    my mind like an instrument.

"This is how life happens, one day at a time, in increments! And God is in each of them for us," Luci Shaw
