OUR FAIRY KINGDOM – ENGLAND 1885
Book 2 of 6 May Mysteries
This story is summarized as follows:
In May Mysteries, eight-year-old Ida and seven-year-old Arthur Pembroke notice their older siblings, Mabel and Leopold, acting strangely—whispering, sneaking into the forbidden woodland, and showing unusual kindness. Determined to uncover their secret, the younger siblings follow them and stumble upon a glowing fairy ring. Stepping inside, they are transported to Sylvandale, the Fairy Kingdom, during its vibrant May Day celebrations.
Queen Titania and King Oberon enlist Ida and Arthur’s help in solving a mystery—precious May Day treasures have been stolen! Teaming up with goblin detectives Snorg and Grizelda, they uncover clues pointing to a group of young pranksters. Through clever deduction, they expose the thieves—a haughty fairy, a clumsy gnome, and a cabbage-loving goblin—teaching them empathy and restoring harmony.
Back at Pembroke Manor, Ida and Arthur apply their newfound wisdom to solve The Case of the Countess’s Clasp, exonerating an innocent maid and inspiring their family to see others with fairness and kindness.
This is the second of six audiobooks in the series and I do hope you enjoy, its only $3.
The initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 3 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, male vocals, instruments are Harp,Flute,French Horn,Oboe,Organ, Genre is Operatic Orchestral and of course Classical and the mood is Passionate yet Serene. The closing music ends the tale on a gentle note and at just over 2 minutes, no vocals but the same musical instruments and genre but a more serene mood.
The story itself runs to about 1 and 1/2 hours and is narrated by Claire Francis, my wife.
I do hope you and your family are entertained by this audiobook and let me know what you think.

Eight-year-old Mason writes and illustrates his own superhero series, "Invincible Igor." Tonight his goal is to finish book six in the series. But with all the interruptions, how can he? His six-year-old sister, animal-loving Alicia, needs Mason's drawing and spelling skills to make a sign that will keep her "pooping machine" guinea pig safe. And now there is a racket coming from the bathroom, thanks to his youngest siblings – four-year-old twins, Jackson and Jillian. It's a big responsibility being the oldest kid in the family. Will Mason ever be able to finish his book? Or maybe something will happen that will inspire the ending. "Mason and Invincible Igor" is written for read-aloud and for early readers. An art activity, and interactive questions to promote memory recall and emotional intelligence are included. ABOUT THE THREE BOOK SERIES: I was in my classroom when a student asked, “I wonder what my sister is doing right now?” The student’s question made me think about a child’s emerging concept of time: that of being aware of life happening elsewhere, outside of the child’s own experience. Each book in the Sapphire Family Series is told from a different point of view: that of the twins, in "Jackson and Jillian," their older sister, Alicia in "Alicia and Annie," and big brother, Mason in "Mason and Invincible Igor." All three books take place during the same period of time, early evening. Although the books can stand alone, read together they offer a three-dimensional exploration of sibling interactions and family dynamics. Reading a story from different points of view is a first step in thinking beyond oneself. My intention is that the Sapphire Family Series will offer children compelling characters with whom they can identify and grow, and present positive, realistic family dynamics that will delight them.

With his mother dead, his father gone, and his older brothers and sisters unable to help, eight-year-old Ethan Cooper knows it’s his responsibility to keep him and his younger siblings together—even if that means going to an orphanage.
Ethan, Alice, Simon, and Will settle into the Briarlane Christian Children’s Home, where there’s plenty to eat, plenty of work, and plenty of talk about a Father who never leaves. Even so, Ethan fears losing the only family he has. How can he trust God to keep him safe when almost everything he’s known has disappeared?
The first book in the Beyond the Orphan Train series, Looking for Home takes us back to 1907 Pennsylvania and into the real-life adventures of four children in search of a true home.
