Sinossi

Sequel to Into the Divide
Commander Michele is dead, and the fragile balance of the base on OC-1320 is shattered. The Science Division and the First Fighters turn on each other, while Izaak, once a commander, now a man content to fade into the background, is reluctantly forced to take charge of the base. Distrusted by the scientists, about to be abandoned by his second-in-command Tarn, and confronted by Inspector Vincent Hawthorn, whom he was sent to investigate, Izaak is dragged back into conflicts he thought he'd left behind.
Vincent hasn't changed. He is overly dramatic and petty and prone to fits of jealousy. He is also arrogant, brilliant, and impossible to ignore, he forces Izaak to face not only the fractured base but also the truths he's buried about himself. Their shared past still lingers, full of old wounds and unfinished business, and now Vincent is the one man Izaak can't avoid.
Beyond the fence lies the Nullands and the Divide, where dangers come in alien forms. But inside the base, the battles are all too human. To survive, Izaak must decide what kind of leader he wants to be, and whether he can trust Vincent again, even if it means breaking everything he once believed in.

Behind the scenes he safeguards the mythos community from scandal—and further human hatred. When the eggs of a rare greater dragon are stolen, Edra must find and return them before the mother razes the city.
Edra’s partner, Jordan, has just been promoted, and he’s on the trail of several stolen mythos artifacts. Together, they track the eggs to a colony of mermaids living in the bay near Alcatraz Island.

Theo Kramer has spent most of his freshman year at Seabreeze State struggling to be the school's biggest screw-up: late nights trying to hook up with down low frat boys at keg parties, even later mornings skipping classes, but now he's back on track: literally running around the campus intramural track to get his old mojo back and start fresh, one stumbling, hungover step at a time. When he literally runs into a long, lean, track star machine, Theo can't help but feel his heart race, and not just from getting back in shape!
Henry Chambers has just been dropped from the track team, for hitting on the coach's son, no less. Disgraced, disgusted with himself, and downtrodden, he seeks solace by running around the only track he's allowed on these days: the intramural one bordering the freshman dorms. When a big lug stumbles into him one morning, smelling like a keg but looking like sex on legs, Henry can't resist the former running back's charms, or the offer to run with him for the rest of the semester.
But will their newfound attraction buy the happily ever after both boys have been chasing since heading to college? Or is it just another mirage on the hot, dusty track ahead, always out of reach?

Art teacher Stone Larrabee dreads parent/teacher conferences. One following Christmas break becomes especially awkward, when a man with whom he shared a hot anonymous hookup and a nasty argument afterward walks in. Edison Watts.

The moment they're reunited, sexual sparks reignite. Too many conflicts force Stone to decree there can never be anything between them but the one night, though, even as fate keeps throwing them together throughout the school year, and developing feelings become hard to ignore.

Some problems are easily solved while others, including the reason for Edison's initial attraction to Stone and the chip on Edison's shoulder bigger than the high school's football field, prove more difficult. Stone can teach, but he decides must also be willing to learn and grow. When Edison promises to do the same, can they find a way to make one and one equal two?
