Sinossi

Almost everything we’ve been taught about ancient history is flawed - our origins, the rise of civilizations, and, most strikingly, the true purpose of pyramids. The history books we rely on will need to be rewritten. For over a century, history professors have drilled into us the idea that "pyramids in Egypt were built as pharaohs' tombs, while those in Mexico served as ceremonial sacrificial sites”. But this narrative is not supported by evidence. The largest and oldest Egyptian pyramids contain no pharaohs' remains, no hieroglyphic inscriptions declaring them tombs, and no definitive proof of their funerary purpose. Similarly, in Mexico, only the later pyramids of the Aztecs bear traces of sacrificial rituals, while the purpose of the far older Mayan pyramids remains shrouded in mystery. And yet, pyramids were not exclusive to Egypt and Mexico. Their presence is global. Hundreds have been discovered in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Belize; thousands in Mexico; and many more in Peru and Bolivia. There are over 224 pyramids in Nubia (modern-day Sudan), countless others scattered across China, Cambodia, the Canary Islands, and Mauritius. Even more astonishingly, emerging research suggests pyramidal structures may lie hidden in the Amazon, beneath the waters of the Caribbean off Cuba, and even in Australia and Indonesia. The idea that ancient civilizations had no intercontinental communication before the arrival of the so-called "superior" European explorers is a historical distortion. The pyramid concept transcends cultures, geography, and millennia, pointing to a lost global knowledge - one that modern archaeology has systematically ignored or downplayed. The academic world has long sought to fit these structures into a convenient timeline, one that aligns with conventional historical narratives. But new research suggests pyramids in Bosnia, Peru, Mexico, China, Egypt, and Mauritius may be far older than previously assumed. At the turn of the new millennium, we believed we had mapped out our past, but discoveries on land and beneath the oceans have shattered that illusion. The vastness of what we don’t know far outweighs what we do know. The filtration of archaeological information by elite groups can no longer continue. Independent researchers - armed with satellite imagery, thermal scans, geo-radar, advanced geophysics, and new dating methods - are breaking through the veil of deception.Pyramids were placed at the heart of these ancient civilizations for a reason. Their global presence is no coincidence. To truly understand their significance, we must move beyond conventional archaeology and explore them through the lenses of physics, energy, and spirituality. Only then will their secrets be revealed, showing us how wisdom from the past can help solve the mounting crises of modern civilization. The door to a new understanding of history is now open. There is no turning back.

In the tumultuous landscape of adolescence, a period marked by profound transformation and discovery, the interplay between hormones and brain development forms the cornerstone of human growth. "From Hormones to Neurons: Understanding Puberty's Role in Adolescent Brain Evolution And The Role of Technology" delves into the intricate biological processes that shape the adolescent mind and explores how modern technology influences this critical stage of life. This book aims to unravel the complexities of puberty, illustrating how hormonal changes trigger a cascade of neural developments that underpin emotional, cognitive, and social maturation.
Physical changes and significant brain structure and function reconfigurations mark the journey from childhood to adulthood. Moreover, in an era where technology permeates every aspect of life, understanding its role in adolescent development is more critical than ever. This book addresses how digital engagement — from social media and video games to educational platforms — interacts with the brain's evolving landscape. The dual influence of biology and technology presents a unique framework for comprehending the contemporary adolescent experience.

World War I, also known in its time as the “Great War” or the “War to End all Wars”, was an unprecedented holocaust in terms of its sheer scale. Fought by men who hailed from all corners of the globe, it saw millions of soldiers do battle in brutal assaults of attrition which dragged on for months with little to no respite. Tens of millions of artillery shells and untold hundreds of millions of rifle and machine gun bullets were fired in a conflict that demonstrated man’s capacity to kill each other on a heretofore unprecedented scale, and as always, such a war brought about technological innovation at a rate that made the boom of the Industrial Revolution seem stagnant.
Most books and documentaries about the First World War focus on the carnage of the Western Front, where Germany faced off against France, the British Empire, and their allies in a grueling slugfest that wasted millions of lives. The shattered landscape of the trenches has become symbolic of the war as a whole, and it is this experience that everyone associates with World War I, but that front was not the only experience. There was the more mobile Eastern Front, as well as mountain warfare in the Alps and scattered fighting in Africa and the Far East.
Then there was the Middle Eastern Front, fought across the Levant and Mesopotamia, which captured the imagination of the European public. There, the British and their allies fought the Ottoman Turkish Empire under harsh desert conditions hundreds of miles from home, struggling for possession of places most people only knew from the Bible and the Koran.
