Sinossi

The terror began on August 14, 1983. 
American bush pilot Russell Stendal, on a routine trip, landed his plane in a remote Colombian village and found himself in the middle of an armed ambush. Within minutes, he was taken hostage by Communist guerrilla fighters and told he would be held for ransom. 
Held at gunpoint deep in the jungle for 142 days, Russell began to write. He told the story of his life and recorded his experience inside the guerrilla camp. That writing became a bridge between him and his captors, many of whom were young, armed, and spiritually lost. 
Rescue the Captors is the true story of how God’s love broke through both physical chains and ideological strongholds, transforming a jungle prison into a place of encounter, reflection, and redemption.
