  Cathy earned her B.A. in Psychology at the University of Manitoba. She has worked as a human resource professional and office manager. The death of her husband of 50 years, Grant, changed the trajectory of her life. Once she got over the initial shock of that experience, she took more training to understand how to process the reality of trauma and grief:
