One Week. Six Murders. Based on a True Story. 
On her 21st birthday, Angel Morgan steps out of Juvenile Detention after serving five years for grand theft auto. The next 12 hours will change the course of her life forever. 
About to purchase a bus ticket to live on the beaches of Florida, she meets Sam and April. Never having any real friends before, these two offer Angel comfort such as she’s never known before. Little does she suspect their dark path will turn her world upside down. 
Soon, she is sitting in prison awaiting sentencing for six murders committed by her new “friends” in the week before Christmas. Then, Dr. Rosie Klein, enters Angel’s life. A court-appointed forensic psychologist, Dr. Klein looks at all the mitigating factors of Angel’s childhood that could influence the Judge in sentencing this young woman, including abuse suffered at the hands of her mother and the men who used her. 
Angel takes Dr. Klein on a journey depicting the slayings of six innocent people the week before Christmas and to which Angel becomes guilty by association.
