ABOUT THE FILM 
"The Silence of the Lambs" is a 1991 psychological horror-thriller directed by Jonathan Demme. The film follows FBI trainee Clarice Starling (Jodie Foster), who is tasked with interviewing the imprisoned cannibalistic serial killer, Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins). Starling seeks Lecter's help to catch another serial killer, "Buffalo Bill," who is abducting women. As Starling and Lecter form an uneasy connection, she delves into the disturbing psychology of both killers. The film explores themes of power, manipulation, and the darkness of the human mind, blending crime investigation with psychological tension and horror.
