Stoicism and Christianity—two of the world's great wisdom traditions—have been guiding people toward a good life for thousands of years. But how do they compare to each other? Jesus and Stoicism places these two revered traditions side by side to consider how the words of Jesus and the Stoics together can illuminate our path toward ethical understanding and inner peace.By placing ancient texts, like the New Testament gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, Discourses and Handbook by Epictetus, Moral Letters to Lucilius by Seneca, and more, in dialogue with one another, we get a double dose of the compassion, forgiveness, generosity, and love expressed by these wise and inspiring teachers. Jesus and Stoicism focuses on the shared ethics and way of life common to both traditions.Whether you're a lifelong Christian, a burgeoning Stoicist, or a philosophy fan, Jesus and Stoicism is a thought-provoking companion to help navigate modern life with ancient wisdom. If you've ever wondered about common ground between Stoic and Christian ethics, you will find insight and inspiration here. Perfect for listeners who are interested in daily wisdom books, Christian self-help, or the intersection of philosophy and religion.

How do you catch subliminal manipulation in the act — before it quietly steers a decision you thought was your own?

Sometimes you wonder whether your thoughts are entirely yours. You suspect people nudge you in ways you cannot quite name, and you scroll past dozens of ads a day without knowing what they leave behind.

That unease is not paranoia. Subliminal messages really are woven through the marketing you see and the conversations you have — and most people never learn to spot them.

This audiobook trains your eye, so the same principles of persuasion that can be used on you become something you recognize and understand.

    In this audiobook, you'll discover:

The conscious versus the subconscious mind — where hidden messages slip in and take hold
How subliminal messages actually work — priming, conditioning, and their pull on long-term decisions
Body language as silent speech — reading microexpressions, mirroring, posture, and the power of touch
Subliminal tactics in business — the "as if" principle and how brands quietly win clients
How crowds get moved — the way trends spread and the sticky effect takes over
Appearance as influence — how height, color, and voice pitch shape the way you are read
The famous Vicary hoax — the truth behind the story that launched the subliminal advertising scare

You will also see the evidence sorted from the myths — including why the old claim that we use only ten percent of our brains simply does not hold up.

You do not need a psychology degree to see through this — only the right lens. Learn how influence really works, and make your next decision knowing it is truly yours.

What if true goodness made the world uncomfortable?
The Idiot is Dostoevsky’s powerful novel about innocence, cruelty, and the cost of staying pure in a world that rewards deception.
Prince Myshkin, recently returned from years of treatment in a Swiss clinic, walks through the aristocratic society of 19th-century Russia with compassion, honesty, and a profound sensitivity—traits that make him an outsider in every room.
Torn between two women, manipulated by greedy nobles, and surrounded by social intrigue, Myshkin's moral clarity slowly becomes his downfall. This deeply human story explores the tragic impossibility of living with radical goodness in a broken world.
    What you’ll discover inside:
-A Timeless Portrait of Innocence – The unforgettable character of Prince Myshkin.
-A Complex Tapestry of Emotion – Love, betrayal, and spiritual yearning in high society.
-A Tragic Moral Conflict – What happens when a pure soul meets a cynical world.
-A Modern, Faithful Adaptation – Captures the novel’s emotional depth and clarity for today’s listeners.
Let the voice of Dostoevsky awaken your heart and conscience.
The Idiot is more than a novel—it’s a spiritual reckoning.

    The Meme Humanoids - Modern...

In 2012, an incredible phenomenon began to occur. Internet users, in earnest, began reporting frightening encounters with emaciated, pale, hairless humanoids that, for the most part, crawled on all fours. Internet users attempted to equate these entities with characters of Native American mythology, oblivious to the fact that the humanoids in these encounters bore a resemblance to the fictional Rake. Many witnesses suggested that they were "Skinwalkers," medicine men or witches of traditional Navajo lore who possess the ability to transform into animals. Others proposed that these emaciated humanoids were manifestations of the "Wendigo," a malevolent cannibalistic spirit of Cree and Algonquin legend. Others still began to invent new names for these creatures, such as "Fleshgaits" and "Crawlers," the latter evoking the 2005 movie entities that likely helped to inspire the Rake originally.

The humanoid encounters and sightings that are detailed in this book over varied glimpses into the phenomenon. Ask yourself—are these humanoids actual corporeal beings that are manifested by the human mind and perceivable by others? Or are we witnessing the nexus of an unknown and monstrous species of humanoid?
