Hacking for Beginners: A Comprehensive Introduction to Hacking. Learn the Essential Skills and Tools for Aspiring HackersHacking is a term that has been around for decades and refers to the practice of exploiting vulnerabilities in computer systems or networks to gain unauthorized access. The term has become synonymous with computer crime, but it originally referred to the practice of using technical knowledge to overcome limitations and find creative solutions to problems. While hacking can refer to illegal activities, such as stealing sensitive information or disrupting services, it can also refer to legal activities such as penetration testing and bug bounty programs. In this audiobook, you will get a comprehensive introduction in the art of hacking. You will learn the steps that you can take to help ensure the security of your network, including keeping software and systems up-to-date, using strong passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, using a firewall, and many more. This audiobook will cover the following topics:- The Basics of Hacking And Some of the Benefits of Learning How to Use This Programming Technique- How to Work With Your Penetration Test- The Importance of Strong Passwords and How Professional Hackers Attempt to Break Them- Some of the Other Common Attacks- Some of the Steps That You Can Take to Ensure That Your Network Will Stay Safe and Secure- How to Download and Use the Kali Linux- And many more!If you want to learn more, scroll up and click “add to cart” now!

From about 12,900 to 11,700 before present (BP), near Ice Age conditions returned to the Northern Hemisphere of the planet. It was a sudden shift from the warm temperatures that had prevailed for nearly 2,000 years. This period is referred to by archaeologists, geologists, and earth scientists as the Greenland Stadial, but it is more commonly known as the Younger Dryas. The Younger Dryas marked the end of the last glacial period, the end of the Pleistocene Era, and the beginning of the Holocene Era, which is the current era. It was a period of great change, when climate change happened quite quickly, directly affecting the flora, fauna, and humans of the Northern Hemisphere in the process. The impact on the human populations was perhaps most important because, in some places, it virtually destroyed emerging cultures, while in other places, it might have propelled humans to develop new survival traits and technologies later used to move humanity into the Neolithic era. Although scholars now know quite a bit about the Younger Dryas, many elements of it are still debated. Other aspects serve as a predictor of what humans can expect in the future.
There is, however, still plenty of information about the Younger Dryas that remains unknown or open to debate. Not all scholars agree on the dates of the Younger Dryas or how long it lasted. Even more controversial are the alternate theories about what caused the Younger Dryas and the effect it had on the Northern Hemisphere’s bio-populations. This book examines the background of the Younger Dryas, its effects on bio-populations, and how it contributed to the emergence of the Neolithic Era. Alternative theories will be examined and compared to more standard ideas currently prevailing in academia.

Do you like scary movies? Have you ever wondered why?

In Nightmare Fuel, Nina Nesseth explores the strange and often unexpected science of fear through the lenses of psychology and physiology. How do horror films get under our skin? And why do we keep coming back for more?

Horror films promise an experience: fear. But how exactly do filmmakers pull this off? The truth is, there's more to it than just loud noises and creepy images.

With the affection of a true horror fan and the critical analysis of a scientist, Nesseth explains how audiences engage horror with both their brains and bodies, and teases apart the elements that make horror films tick. Nightmare Fuel covers everything from jump scares to creature features, serial killers to the undead, and the fears that stick around to those that fade over time.

With in-depth discussions and spotlight features of some of horror's most popular films—from classics like The Exorcist to modern hits like Hereditary—and interviews with directors, film editors, composers, and horror academics, Nightmare Fuel is a deep dive into the science of fear, a celebration of the genre, and a survival guide for going to bed after the credits roll.

Open source software finds its connections with free software and is part of free and open source software over the extended term. Open-source software (OSS) is a form of computer software program that releases source code under a licensing legitimacy wherein the copyright holder allows users the privilege to analyze, modify and share the software to anyone and for any productive purpose. Open-source software may be created either freely and collaboratively. Open-source software is a case in point of open collaboration.
The progress of open-source software will offer assorted perspectives beyond those of a single enterprise A 2008 study from the Standish Group reported that the implementation of open-source software models culminated in savings for customers of around $60 billion (£ 48 billion) annually. Initiatives of open source software are undertaken and managed by a network of voluntary programming associations and are commonly used in the gamut of both free and commercial outputs.

"We need more writers with bite. We have lived in the flatlands too long," writes John Barnie in one of his 'observations' ('Art in the Flatlands'). And bite he delivers.

Ranging across politics, history, culture, ecological disaster, the meaning of truth, poetry, what we mean by identity and more… Barnie shares a window onto the world that is both erudite and particular. Leaning towards pessimism in a darkening world, these observations are often provocative, not from any bullish desire to antagonise, but as the result of mining a rationalist line of thought with an honesty and consistency that is applied as much to the author as to his subjects. There is a clarity here that some may find uncomfortable, but the aim is always dialogue above agreement; intellectual engagement above cheap solutions and sentimentality.

Barnie asks us to think, consider and dig deeper, but most of all he asks that we "…live richly among our secondary self-created meanings, while recognising them for what they are. To face without flinching the nullity of the great void." ('Varieties of Meaning')
Tsunami Days is a vital collection of essays for those prepared to engage with its unflinching observations.

In Israel and the Cyber Threat, Charles D. ("Chuck") Freilich, Matthew S. Cohen, and Gabi Siboni provide a detailed and comprehensive study of Israel's cyber strategy, tracing it from its origins to the present. They analyze Israel's highly advanced civil and military cyber capabilities and organizational structures to offer insights into what other countries can learn from Israel's experience. To achieve this, they explore how and why Israel has been able to build a remarkable cyber ecosystem and turn itself, despite its small size, into a global cyber power. The book further examines the major cyber threats facing Israel, including the most in-depth look at Iranian cyber policies and attacks; Israel's defensive and offensive capabilities and the primary attacks it has conducted; capacity building; international cooperation; and the impact of Israel's strategic culture on its cyber prowess. By placing Israel's actions in the realm of international relations theory, the book sheds light on many of the major questions in the field regarding cyber policies.

The most authoritative work to date on Israeli cyber strategy, this book provides a comprehensive look at the major actions Israel has taken in cyberspace. It also places them in the broader context of global cyber developments to help listeners understand state behavior in cyberspace.
