Synopsis

With her aunt taking a well-earned break, Abby is juggling two businesses at once—managing Primrose House B&B while growing her new catering company. But when she arrives to deliver lunch to one of her regular clients, she stumbles upon something far worse than an empty stomach. 
 
 
 
The victim's home has been ransacked, and a valuable artifact stolen. As Abby gets pulled into the investigation, it becomes clear that this isn't just a simple break-in gone wrong—someone in Sugar Creek is willing to kill to keep their secrets safe. But was the murder tied to the stolen treasure . . . or something far more personal? 
 
 
 
Running a small business is complicated enough—but dating the town's sheriff makes things even trickier. Abby and Ryan are finally together, but that doesn't mean they see eye to eye—especially when her sleuthing starts making headlines. Between managing the B&B, untangling a mystery, and keeping her business afloat, Abby has enough on her plate without also being Sugar Creek's favorite topic of gossip. 
 
 
 
With friendships tested, old grudges resurfacing, and danger creeping closer, Abby must uncover the truth before she becomes the next piece of Sugar Creek's history to disappear.
