Sinossi

After surviving a surprise attack, Akira has the man behind it dead to rights—but explaining the situation to his fellow hunters won’t be easy. When Reina and Shiori arrive on the scene, they only see the young hunter pointing his rifle at an injured man. Accusations fly, and in the confusion, his wily cyborg opponent takes Reina hostage. Caving to the thief’s demands means certain death—but if Akira refuses, he’ll be turning his back on the people he fought side-by-side with just yesterday. And since Shiori would never abandon her beloved “Miss Reina,” she’ll become his enemy too. Can the ghostly Alpha’s support see him through before her superhuman maneuvers wreck his body—or before the thief’s accomplices show up?

In When Faith Meets Fire: Blood Ties & Broken Vows, Zula Tlholoe delivers a stirring tale of love, duty, and rebellion set in the deeply traditional village of Naledi. Amina, a young woman born into a world governed by sacred customs and ancestral expectations, finds herself at a crossroad between obedience and self-liberation. Betrothed to Kwame—a man chosen by her family and revered by her community—Amina is expected to carry the torch of tradition without question.
But her heart belongs to Malik, a quiet rebel with no lineage or wealth, yet full of vision and love that sets her soul ablaze. Their forbidden connection sparks a quiet storm that challenges the very foundations of what it means to honor family, faith, and self.
As lobola negotiations begin and wedding preparations tighten like a noose, Amina must decide if her voice, her love, and her future are worth the price of exile. With every chapter, readers are drawn deeper into a richly woven narrative of generational pressure, silent rebellions, and the cost of choosing oneself.
Blending lyrical storytelling with cultural nuance, When Faith Meets Fire is a powerful family saga that asks: What do we owe to tradition, and what do we owe to ourselves?

In its first appearance in 1892, Israel Zangwill's Children of the Ghetto created a sensation in both England and America, becoming the first Anglo-Jewish bestseller and establishing Zangwill as the literary voice of Anglo-Jewry. A novel set in late nineteenth-century London, Children of the Ghetto gave an inside look into an immigrant community that was almost as mysterious to the more established middle-class Jews of Britain as to the non-Jewish population, providing a compelling analysis of a generation caught between the ghetto and modern British life. Lil' Cub is a small Piper Cub airplane. In this first book, the story is all about the Mercy Flight. It's a sunny day, and Lil' Cub is flying over the neighborhood looking for someone to play with. Lil' Cub spots his friend Bently. Bently is a helicopter. Bently tells Lil' Cub that he has been sent by Mr. Dispatcher to find him, as there is a very important job for him to do. Lil' Cub finds Mr. Dispatcher at the door to the hangar. Mr. Dispatcher tells Lil' Cub he is perfect for the job that needs to be done because he is small. The job is delivering medical supplies to Doc Bowing on the high desert. Lil' Cub feels honored to have been asked to do this Mercy Flight and tells Mr. Dispatcher that he is more than willing to do the job. Lil' Cub sets off on his mission and, during the flight, encounters some bad weather and high winds. Lil' Cub talks to himself and says he must keep on going, for people are counting on him to deliver this medicine. With each new obstacle that confronts him, Lil' Cub tells himself (over and over) “I can make it! I can make it!” After a very long flight, Lil' Cub comes to the place where Doc Bowing is waiting. Doctor Bowing is very happy to see that Lil' Cub has made it safely and thanks Lil' Cub for completing the mission. When Lil' Cub returns home, his friend Bently is waiting for him, and Bently tells Lil' Cub that he is a hero! Lil' Cub replies that he feels very good because even though he is very small, he was able to help many people by delivering the much-needed medicine.
