Sinossi

In the final quarter of 2025, here in the City of London and North London, something amazing began to take place. Small increments built and built until it all became natural and right again, aiding the recovery narrative of our city environments in the post-Covid era and the financial revival of the legacy banking systems.

Those areas were aware enough to notice and encourage the return of a much more stable, classic, and desired woman into our daily context. Strong. Charming. Independent. This woman is the blonde.

So, within the day-to-day of what was an unpredictable maelstrom brought on by an "invasive syphon-flow colony" of crypto-criminals, who "played" twenty-four hours only the day after a good day, which has now ended this summer, 2026, I was able to finally "draw what I see" with my pen and paper, an ode to the anchoring moments that made a minute or two seem simply perfect and real again.

So this one's for the blondes in blue. For keeping everything sweet. A lovely thanks to you.

A psychoanalyst's sensitive exploration of schizophrenia through the stories and words of three women patients

In the spring of 1994, psychoanalyst-in-training Steven Poser arrived for his clinical internship at one of the last remaining nineteenth-century mental hospitals in New England. Intending to observe and offer compassionate care to the most chronically ill patients, he ended up staying for two years, forming close therapeutic relationships with three female patients suffering from schizophrenia, "Agnes," "Mrs. Lutzky," and "Lucia."

Drawing from his clinical diary, Poser presents his encounters with the women in their own words, each speaking in a poetry of her own invention. Rather than treat the women as casualties of their illness or their words and actions as nonsensical, Poser sees his patients as dignified and struggling people—and not as markedly different from the rest of us as we might think. This is a deeply human book about the frailty and importance of human connection and the intangibly healing force of being heard.

What happens when the fire you've spent a lifetime suppressing finally starts to burn?
Dana grew up in the unpredictable shadows of shame, silence, and mental illness. In a world of instability, she learned that the safest strategy was to disappear. By adulthood, she had perfected the art of suppression-burying her emotions and her "wild side" under layers of childhood trauma and societal expectations. Her true self-her inner dragon-was locked away just to keep the peace.
But a dragon cannot stay hidden forever.
In this raw and moving memoir, Dana relives her transformation from a girl who dimmed her light and never spoke her truth into a woman who walks into every room as her most authentic self. This journey wasn't a single moment, but a collection of "dragon fire" found in uninhibited dancing in the African bush, in the defiant voice that rose to defend her work, and in the courage to leave the "safe" path and invest in her own business.
How I Got My Dragon Back is a roadmap to reclamation and an invitation to:Heal deep-seated wounds and break unhelpful cyclesReconnect with your intuition and inner powerStop hiding and start living with unapologetic authenticity
Whether you are recovering from trauma, uncovering yourself after decades of suppression, or simply seeking to reclaim your joy, Dana's story proves that your inner dragon hasn't disappeared-it has just been waiting for you to be brave enough to let it out.

A heartfelt guide for meeting difficult times with mindfulness, compassion, and courage—from a psychotherapist and Buddhist practitioner who learned from her own crisis.

Using personal examples from her own recent bardo crisis—undergoing cancer treatment during the pandemic—and offering contemplative prompts for inner-reflection and a meditation practice in each chapter, psychotherapist and Buddhist practitioner Susan Chapman demystifies the three main types of fear people experience (frozen, awake, and core), and how to meet each with love. This heartfelt guide from someone who's been there and done the work will help us get through life's challenges and restore our equilibrium, while also inviting a valuable opportunity for personal growth.

Which Way Is Up? draws from traditional Buddhist teachings on the bardo, a Tibetan word most often associated with the period between death and rebirth. Chapman likens the bardo to abrupt episodes in our lives when things seem to turn upside down and we can't find our footing. In such times of not-knowing, our fearful mind tends to panic trying to make sense out of our experience. Instead, Chapman meets the listener in their groundlessness to show how these turning points can force us to let go of our assumptions about the future and allow something new to be reborn.
