Sinossi

After Srila Prabhupada's physical departure on 14th November, 1977, the following occurred:

1) Taking advantage of this departure, 11 men immediately usurped Srila Prabhupada's position as the diksa guru of ISKCON.

2) One of the 11 men who did this was HH Hridayananda Dasa Goswami ("HD"). He then went on, from around 1980 until 1982, to complete Srila Prabhupada's Srimad-Bhagavatam, by giving his own translations and purports on cantos 10 (after chapter 13), 11 and 12, which will be referred to as "HD's Bhagavatam".

However, as we proved in our book, The Final Order, there is no record of Srila Prabhupada having given an order for HD and the others to take his position as ISKCON's diksa guru. Thus, event 1 was unauthorised. In this book, we will show that Srila Prabhupada similarly gave no order for HD to complete his Bhagavatam, and thus HD's Bhagavatam is also unauthorised. In addition, we will show that a group which has made it a mission to promote HD's Bhagavatam as bona fide must, by their own arguments, also reject it as being unauthorised.

We were created for so much more than rushing through life. It’s easy for everything in our lives to seem fine on the surface. But deep down inside, there’s often another story at play―one of overwhelm, stress and heartache, of finding ourselves stuck in old patterns. Rather than feeling the weight of it all, it’s easier to spend our days on autopilot, ignoring the noise inside. But what if the peace and relief we most long for comes from tuning in with what’s happening inside, instead of tuning it out?Join therapist Anna Christine (A.C.) Seiple on a compassionate, mindful exploration of the depths of our souls. With gentleness, wisdom, and expertise, A.C. invites us to connect with our body and get curious about the spaces within that feel most stuck―and find where we need safety, attunement and care.Rather than a prescriptive “how-to” guide, The Sacred Art of Slowing Down offers unique therapeutic prompts and contemplative reflections to help uscultivate new rhythms to work with what’s happening inside rather than feeling like we’re working against ourselvesholistically explore the cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and somatic strands of ourselves―connecting with and honoring the whole of our created beingbecome more comfortable with being instead of getting caught up in doing through experiential exercisesembrace God’s tender compassion and care―especially for the most wounded parts of usWhen we slow down to connect with the depths of our being, we are able to move through life in freer, more wholehearted―and whole-bodied―ways. 'Funny, insightful and hugely informative ... a charming book' DAILY MAIL

'Tremendous ... We all need to take stock, and this is the ideal starting point. I learnt a lot from this book and laughed a lot too.' ROSAMUND YOUNG, author of The Secret Life of Cows

Since highland cattle ransacked his grandmother's vegetable patch when he was six, Roger Morgan-Grenville has been fascinated by cows.

So at the age of 61, with no farming experience, he signed on as a part- time labourer on a beef cattle farm to tell their side of the story. The result is this lyrical and evocative book.

For 10,000 years, cow and human lives have been intertwined. Cattle have existed alongside us, fed and shod us, quenched our thirst, and provided a thousand other tiny services, and yet most of us know little about them. We are also blissfully unaware of the de-natured lives we often ask them to lead.

Part history, part adventure and part unsentimental manifesto for how we should treat cows in the 21st century, Taking Stock asks us to think carefully about what we eat, and to let nature back into food production.

In response to a question about his Faith, the book and why he has written this book, the author stated “It was a lesson by my father to his kids that no matter what you’re confronted with in life if you trust in Christ and you believe without a doubt that Christ is with you, you can get through anything. That was what we learned at a very early age and that’s what stuck with me throughout my life.".....
