Sinossi

After Srila Prabhupada's physical departure on 14th November, 1977, the following occurred:

1) Taking advantage of this departure, 11 men immediately usurped Srila Prabhupada's position as the diksa guru of ISKCON.

2) One of the 11 men who did this was HH Hridayananda Dasa Goswami ("HD"). He then went on, from around 1980 until 1982, to complete Srila Prabhupada's Srimad-Bhagavatam, by giving his own translations and purports on cantos 10 (after chapter 13), 11 and 12, which will be referred to as "HD's Bhagavatam".

However, as we proved in our book, The Final Order, there is no record of Srila Prabhupada having given an order for HD and the others to take his position as ISKCON's diksa guru. Thus, event 1 was unauthorised. In this booklet, we will show through 13 different proofs that Srila Prabhupada similarly gave no order for HD to complete his Bhagavatam, and thus HD’s Bhagavatam is also unauthorised.

Shows how our sense that there’s something more to life points to Jesus. Most of us have a sense that there may be more out there than only what we can see or touch—not necessarily a God but something. You could call this intuition "somethingism." This book offers you the opportunity to begin to explore your own sense of more. Imaginative and thoughtful chapters reflect on our experiences, considering the possibility that our sense of something out there correlates to a someone who not only exists but can be encountered and known in the person of Jesus. You can read this book by yourself, with a friend or over four sessions in a group. There are questions to fuel reflection and discussion.

The life of Timothy Leary is examined through papers and correspondence preserved in his archive.

The first collection of Timothy Leary's (1920–1996) selected papers and correspondence opens a window on the ideas that inspired the counterculture of the 1960s and the fascination with LSD that continues to the present. The man who coined the phrase "turn on, tune in, drop out," Leary cultivated interests that ranged across experimentation with hallucinogens, social change and legal reform, and mysticism and spirituality, with a passion to determine what lies beyond our consciousness. Through Leary's papers, the listener meets such key figures as Allen Ginsberg, William S. Burroughs, Ken Kesey, Marshall McLuhan, Aldous Huxley, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, and Carl Sagan. Author Jennifer Ulrich organizes this rich material into an annotated narrative of Leary's adventurous life, an epic quest that had a lasting impact on American culture.

    Walking Through Deconstruction -...

"I'm deconstructing my faith." As any pastor can tell you, hearing these words is simply a regular feature of ministry these days. How we respond to those who are deconstructing will reveal the kind of church—and the kinds of Christians—we really are.

Ian Harber knows the fear and grief of deconstruction firsthand. In this book, he tells the story of his own process of deconstruction and reconstruction over more than ten years and explores what is actually happening, both culturally and spiritually, when someone deconstructs their faith.

Deconstruction doesn't happen in a vacuum; it is catalyzed by a comfortable society, cultural Christianity, compromised churches, and the compounding anxieties of life. But the Christian faith has better to offer. Harber lays out a vision for the kind of faith environment that can foster genuine reconstruction through healthy relationships, robust doctrine, healthy institutions, and the peace of God.

We desperately need healthy models of ministry to those who are deconstructing. Whether you're a pastor, parent, or friend of someone on this path, Walking Through Deconstruction offers hope for a renewed faith—stronger than it was before.
