Summary

Jekitoro was just a boy when he was banished by his father a rogue assassin. His mother died in a crossfire, when the two dynasties were at war in the mountains. When Ms. Miyabe spotted this young boy in the forest, she brought him into the village and raised him in here family. He was orphaned at 7 years old and adopted by a woman called Ms. Miyabe who brought him into a well known village and raised him in her family (amongst her son: Rekuto and daughter: Tsukishi). A few decades later when Jekitoro was all grown up, he went on a journey to discover his past and upon returning to the village, he learned of Ms. Miyabe's death when he was confronted by his brother Rekuto armed with a sword to kill his brother to avenge the death of his Mother.
