Sinopsis

Eli wanted nothing more than quiet, strong coffee, and enough focus to finish his thesis. What he got instead was a neighbor who growled louder than the porch steps and glared like every sunrise had personally offended him.

Caleb keeps to himself for a reason. He’s not just grumpy he’s hiding something no amount of small-town gossip could touch. But when masks slip and whispers spread, Eli finds himself pulled into late-night talks on the porch and small, unexpected flashes of trust with the man who never lets anyone close.

Annoyance shifts to curiosity. Curiosity slides into friendship. And friendship starts to feel like something neither of them is ready to name. The closer Eli gets, the more he sees through the cracks in Caleb’s armor: a man who longs to belong but fears what will happen if anyone sees too much.

The town is watching, the rumors are building, and Eli has to decide protect the quiet life he thought he wanted, or stand beside the neighbor who might change everything.

Can love hold steady when secrets claw at the edges?

Spells backfire, ghosts meddle, shifters wrestle instincts they’d rather ignore, and aliens stumble their way through the messy art of love. Each standalone story mixes comedy, warmth, and a romance that stays sweet but never boring.

    Now I'm not human anymore—
    and neither is our love.

Fangs & Honey is a searing queer vampire romance about two boys who were never meant to belong to each other… and yet bite by bite, they fall deeper than blood can carry.

But when the second bite awakens something monstrous inside Noah—and the third bite binds them forever—love becomes the most dangerous craving of all.

Hunted by the vampire council. Haunted by a boy long dead. Torn between moans and monsters, they must decide:

Are they each other's salvation? Or destruction?

Laced with blood, sex, obsession, and the ache of forbidden touch, Fangs & Honeyis perfect for fans of Heartstopper with fangs, Call Me By Your Name if they bit, and Hannibal, but gayer and hotter.

“The deep relevance and the nuanced portrayal of the myriad effects of abuse on [the characters] lives are skillfully done. Layered and disquieting.” —Kirkus Reviews

Award-winning author Lola Lafon continues her exploration of the psyches of young girls–their fragility, their resilience.

Fontenay, a Parisian suburb, 1984. Cléo is twelve when her parents prod her into taking ballet classes. She drops out after a long year of feeling lost, not classy nor graceful enough, and undoubtedly not as rich as the other kids.

By chance, she signs up for Modern Jazz class at a MJC–a state funded organization whose mission is to provide access to art and culture to all children.

Modern Jazz is her calling, and soon Cléo is transformed, working out constantly, dreaming of becoming a professional dancer. That’s when she catches the attention of Cathy, an elegant middle-aged woman, who is a talent scout for Galatée–a foundation that gives fellowships to exceptionally gifted teenagers.

Fascinated by Cathy and the many gifts with which this providential “godmother” is showering her, Cléo introduces her to her parents, receiving their blessing to spend more time with her, ultimately falling prey to Galatée’s trap.

“The great strength of Reeling is the way Lafon weaves together social failures that, on the surface, seem quite disparate.” —Los Angeles Review of Books

“An immersive, captivating story.” —Buzz magazine, UK

“An impassioned novel on the consequences of sexual exploitation and the dead ends of forgiveness.” —Pages of Hackney, London

“Lola Lafon writes for all those who have stayed in the shadows, all those whose voices cannot be heard, shaking off the contemporary mythology of powerful women.” —France-Amerique

Nero Vik: Recently laid off and once again single, the ex-investigative reporter is digging into the sordid history of Cooper Springs. Once Nero starts investigating, he has questions, most of them for Forrest Cooper.

One man has dedicated himself to putting his past where it belongs—behind him. The other is determined to expose the truth—no matter how painful it is.
