Sinossi

Cervantes tells the story of the adventures of Don Quixote by way of a fictional Moorish chronicler named Cide Hamete Benengeli.
The protagonist of the book is Alonso Quixano (or Quijano), a retired country gentleman nearing 50 years of age, who lives in an unnamed section of La Mancha with his niece and a housekeeper. He has become obsessed with books of chivalry, and believes their every word to be true, despite the fact that many of the events in them are clearly impossible. Quixano eventually appears to other people to have lost his mind due to lack of sleep and food from dedicating all of his time to reading.

The Nursery "Alice" (1890) is a shortened version of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865) by Lewis Carroll adapted by the author himself for children "from nought to five". 
It was first published in 1890 by Macmillan, 25 years after the original Alice, and featured a new illustrated cover by E. Gertrude Thomson, who was a good friend of Dodgson. 
The work is not merely a shortened and simplified version, along the lines of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland retold in words of one syllable. It is written as though the story is being read aloud by someone who is also talking to the child listener, with many interpolations by the author, pointing out details in the pictures and asking questions, such as "Which would you have liked the best, do you think, to be a little tiny Alice, no larger than a kitten, or a great tall Alice, with your head always knocking against the ceiling?" There are also additions, such as an anecdote about a puppy called Dash, and an explanation of the word "foxglove".

The classic Christmas story by Charles Dickens. Evil, old Ebeneezer Scrooge has been a skinflint all his life. His only friend and partner died and he didn't mourn, he only used it as an opportunity to strike a deal. Scrooge is visited by three ghosts. Each of them shows Scrooge scenes intended to make him change his evil ways.A Christmas Carol is possibly Dickens's most famous work, though there are so many to choose from. A Christmas Carol was published in 1843 on 19 December and the first edition sold out by Christmas Eve. Dickens had self-published, in that he paid for the costs of the printing and publication, which was a shrewd financial bet as it turned out. Dickens was only 31 at the time. A Christmas Carol was so popular that a bootleg edition was published in 1844 and Dickens sued the bootleggers. He did public readings of the story from 1849 and went on tour with it, performing it 127 times until his death in 1870.
