Sinossi

Every mistress has her story, but not every story has a mistress like Ginger.

The second book in Marnie Cate's Broken Girl series, FORGIVING GINGER explores the life of Ginger - the character introduced in book one. A woman with a haunting past, Ginger was raised by an oppressive foster mother.

Her life takes a dramatic turn after she meets a man who embodies her dreams. But his intentions are dangerously misleading, resulting in her transformation from an innocent girl to a mistress, living a heated life of lies and passion.

A tale of self-discovery, redemption and challenging stereotypes, FORGIVING GINGER explores the concepts of love, identity and forgiveness.

Veterinary Surgeon Kenneth Marshall was living with his wife and family in London when he inherited a large estate in Yorkshire left to him in a will, by an uncle he had never met.
Fay and Archie begin their new life in the large rambling old house, situated on the coast. Archie discovers the house is haunted by a mischievous ghost. The story is a little creepy and will make you shudder, but at the same time, it will make you smile at some of the funny antics played out as you turn the pages.
It really is a fascinating read.

Richard Bernard Heldmann was born on 12th October 1857, in St Johns Wood, North London.
By his early 20’s Heldmann began publishing fiction for the myriad magazine publications that had sprung up and were eager for good well-written content.
In October 1882, Heldmann was promoted to co-editor of Union Jack, a popular magazine, but his association with the publication ended suddenly in June 1883. It appears Heldman was prone to issuing forged cheques to finance his lifestyle. In April 1884 He was sentenced to 18 months hard labour.
In order to be well away from the scandal and damage this had caused to his reputation Heldmann adopted a pseudonym on his release from jail. Shortly thereafter the name ‘Richard Marsh’ began to appear in the literary periodicals. The use of his mother’s maiden name as part of it seems both a release and a lifeline.
A stroke of very good fortune arrived with his novel The Beetle published in 1897. This would turn out to be his greatest commercial success and added some much-needed gravitas to his literary reputation.
Marsh was a prolific writer and wrote almost 80 volumes of fiction as well as many short stories, across many genres from horror and crime to romance and humour.

Some love stories aren’t written in the stars—they’re written in ink.
When Claire stumbles upon a bundle of forgotten letters in her grandmother’s attic, each one addressed simply to “July,” she is drawn into the unfinished story of a romance that spanned decades. As she begins to piece together the mystery, Claire finds herself writing her own letters—confessions and dreams she never intended to share.
Then she meets James, a quiet artist with a secret of his own. Their lives begin to entwine in unexpected ways, echoing the hidden love story from the past. But as the letters reveal heartbreak as well as hope, Claire must decide whether she will let history guide her—or if she’s brave enough to write an ending that is entirely her own.
Tender, lyrical, and unforgettable, Letters to July is a sweeping tale of love, loss, and the courage to begin again.
