Sinossi

The Strange Visitation is a mystery tale set on the Christmas Eve in the mansion of well-known multi-millionaire Josiah McNason who receives an unusual and uninvited guest. It was a small uncanny creature, like an unpleasantly huge spider with a human head, small enough to curl itself up on the arm of an easy chair, yet large enough to create fear and repulsion in the mind of such a powerful man. The creature presented itself as Professor Goblin from Hell's United Empire Club, threatening to skin millionaire's soul. As the witching hour approaches, the Goblin grows wings and takes Josiah away on a life changing road trip somewhere between dreams and reality.

Edgar Allan Poe has the genius to manipulate language so well that he could engage my imagination and get me terrified even though little was 'done' in the sense of horrible actions described. My imagination, under the power of his creepy words, conjured the atmosphere and amplified the scariness all by itself. In this recording I've chosen some of his stories that did this so well and succeed in leaving lingering hair raising memories with me to enjoy all through my life: The Telltale Heart; The Masque of the Red Death; The Black Cat; The Raven and the Casque of Amontillado. I hope you enjoy listening to them as much as I did narrating them.

    STAY ALIVE. DON'T GET BIT.
For sixteen-year-old Gabbi, life on the street isn't much different after a virus sweeps away civilization: watch your back, do anything to survive, protect your friends.
But Gabbi's friends are imprisoned at a refugee camp and every move she makes puts them in even more danger. Gabbi will do everything to keep her friends alive, but what if everything isn't enough?
The stakes are bigger than Gabbi could imagine, pitting Feeb against Feeb, with uninfected and Vs against them all. If Gabbi doesn't outsmart everyone, she'll get her and her friends caught--again.
This time they won't all make it out alive.
