Sinossi

"Heroes Are Girls and Boys Alike" is an inspiring children’s story that takes young readers on a journey of self-discovery, kindness, and courage. A group of children, free from gender stereotypes, come together for a Superhero Dress-Up Day, each wearing unique costumes that reflect their personal strengths. Throughout the day, they embark on challenges that test their teamwork, compassion, bravery, and creativity. Through imaginative role-play, they learn that heroes come in all forms and genders—whether showing strength through kindness, leading with patience, or solving problems with intelligence. This story fosters a sense of equality, encouraging children to embrace their inner hero, regardless of gender. By teaching the importance of virtues such as empathy, generosity, and courage, this book promotes a positive message of self-esteem, inclusion, and the power of imagination.

Nesta Helen Webster (24 August 1876 - 16 May 1960) was a controversial historian, occultist, and author who revived conspiracy theories about the Illuminati. She argued that the secret society s members were occultists, plotting communist world domination, using the idea of a Jewish cabal, the Masons and Jesuits as a smokescreen.
According to her, their international subversion included the French Revolution, 1848 Revolution, the First World War, the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917. In 1920, Webster was one of the contributing authors who wrote the The Jewish Peril, a series of articles in the London Morning Post, centered on the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. These articles were subsequently compiled and published in the same year, in book form under the title of the The Cause of World Unrest. She was cited respectfully by Winston Churchill, "This movement among the Jews...as Mrs. Webster, has so ably shown, [played] a definitely recognizable part in the tragedy of the French Revolution." I. After her mother’s mysterious disappearance when she was a child, sixteen-year-old Paxton Graves spent her life just wishing she could escape it . . . until the day she finally did.She always knew she was different: abandoned by her mother and raised by her cold, distant father, who happens to be the principal of Golden Valley High. And then there were the “episodes": her vivid, almost-too-real dreams that would come at any time, day or night, without warning. Then one night she finds herself immersed into the world from her dreams, a very real place known as Terra, and face-to-face with a strange boy named Ari, who introduces her to the world she thought only existed inside her mind. But as it turns out, Terra is in grave danger, living under the constant threat of a group that calls themselves “The Fellowship.” When she encounters a resistance group called “The Watch” that tells her that her mother might not only be alive but living in Terra, Pax has so many questions. Now she must decide: Will she go back to her friends and the only life she’s ever known, or will she stay and join the resistance so she can find the mother she thought she'd lost?

A large problem has befallen the Huit girls. (Sisters, actually. Octuplets to be exact.) One particular New Year's Eve, the girls wait for their mommy to bring them hot chocolate and their daddy to return with more wood for the fire. But they don't. Mommy and Daddy, that is. They're gone. Poof! Maybe dead—no one knows for sure.
You must see the problem here. Eight little girls on their own, no mommy or daddy to take care of them. This is not a good thing.
So now these little girls must take care of themselves. Get to school, cook the meals, feed the cats (eight of them, too), and pay the bills. They can't ask for help, oh no. After losing their parents, being split up would be completely unbearable.
At the same time, the question remains: What happened to Mommy and Daddy?

The Sisters Eight (as they are called, affectionately and otherwise) are determined to find out. Luckily, they do seem to have someone or something helping them.
It's a good old-fashioned mystery with missing (or dead) parents, nosy neighbors, talking refrigerators, foul-smelling fruitcake (is there any other kind?), and even a little magic. Eight little girls, eight cats, and one big mystery—let the fun begin!
