Sinossi

Sam and Laura Job have the perfect life. They have a wonderful marriage. Beautiful children. Two great careers. They have a beautiful house in the suburbs. The Jobs are bestowed with all the blessings modern life has to offer. Their life was idyllic until a moment of tragedy changed everything for them, forever. As their family tries to rebuild after this life-altering calamity they struggle to define their relationships with themselves, their relationships with each other and their relationship with God. The Suffering of Innocents looks at the age old question posed in the Old Testament's Book of Job, "Why do innocents suffer?"

One wrong move on the road, and she drove straight into his obsession.
She cut me off in traffic. Reckless. Wild. Completely oblivious to the storm she just unleashed.
I followed her, ready to let her have it—ready to show her exactly who she’d messed with. But then she stepped out of her car.
Big eyes. Perfect curves. A fire in her that matches mine.
Now, I don’t want to yell at her. I want to claim her. Obsession hits me like a head-on collision, and there’s no walking away.
She doesn’t know it yet, but she’s mine. She was mine the second she crossed my path. And I’ll follow her to the ends of the earth to make sure she never forgets it.
Road Rage is packed with road rage, possessive lust, and a hero who doesn’t know how to let go. If you’re ready for a love that’s intense, irresistible, and a little bit dangerous, buckle up—Aidan is taking the wheel, and he’s not stopping until he gets what he wants.

"The Cove: Walking the Plank" A Pirate Sci-Fi Adventure Rooted in Blackbeard's Legacy
In the year 2024, at Christopher Newport University in Virginia, a state steeped in colonial history and maritime lore, renowned history professor Dr. Otto Leroy Maynard uncovers a hidden connection that could change everything we know about the past—and the future. His discovery? A mysterious link between his own family lineage and the legendary pirate Edward Teach, more infamously known as Blackbeard.
Set against the backdrop of Virginia's historic coastline, where the slogan "Virginia is for Lovers" belies tales of shipwrecks, buried treasure, and supernatural whispers, this story dives into the murky depths of both history and speculative science fiction. Otto’s obsession with Blackbeard’s reign of terror (1716–1718)—a time when the pirate king seized up to 40 ships—leads him down a time-warped rabbit hole where past and present collide.
At the heart of this pirate sci-fi saga lies "The Cove"—not just a place, but a portal. What is a cove? In pirate mythology and nautical history, a cove is a secluded, natural harbor often hidden behind towering cliffs. These secret inlets served as pirate hideouts—fortresses where stolen treasure was buried, ships were repaired, and fugitives from the British Navy could vanish without a trace.

Victor-Marie Hugo (26 February 1802 - 22 May 1885) was a French poet, novelist, essayist, playwright, and dramatist of the Romantic movement. During a literary career that spanned more than sixty years, he wrote abundantly in an exceptional variety of genres: lyrics, satires, epics, philosophical poems, epigrams, novels, history, critical essays, political speeches, funeral orations, diaries, and letters public and private, as well as dramas in verse and prose.
BOOK 9: SUPREME SHADOW, SUPREME DAWN: It is a terrible thing to be happy! How content one is! How all-sufficient one finds it! How, being in possession of the false object of life, happiness, one forgets the true object, duty! Let us say, however, that the reader would do wrong were he to blame Marius.

My story is about a man in his seventies, a pseudo scientist who has his brain removed from his skull and placed inside a lab aquarium - the 'Manaquarium' so that they can study his consciousness. (FYI - They removed Einstein's brain but only checked out his basic anatomy and found that he had way more glial cells than the rest of us - what a waste.)  In this case, they get a bit further down the road. Our hero, Henry has made it his life's goal to learn more about the connections of the human soul to the rest of the vastness of space/time. Freed from the constraints of all of his biological functions, his mind is able to go where no man has gone before.
So - in the Think Tank and connected to the Super Lepton Collider, the upgraded Webb and Hubble Telescopes and the Very Large Array, Hank is able to discern something that appears to be the 2nd Big Bang! If you thought the first Big Bang was all there is, you have a huge shock in store for yourself. As it turns out, they're going on all over the place and sometimes, they even collide into one another and cause havoc over large sections of the universe.
This is also a love story that connects the reader to the meaning and purpose of Cosmic Consciousness but in a completely new way - it's Science.
All of this plays out against the background of our planet on fire and all life on Earth on the verge of extinction - even the oceans catch fire - (taken from actual recent headlines.) But cruising closer to the 2nd Big Bang with the aid of Jeff Bezos and his new Space company - everything works out in the end and all of human life becomes justified at last - but in a slightly different and higher context than the way we justify ourselves at the present..
I don't want to give away the ending. I'm hopeful that I've done Arthur C. Clarke and Kurt Vonnegut proud.

What the hell was I thinking? (Don’t answer that.)
I followed a maniacal fae mage through a portal to who-knows-where, and the only thing keeping me alive is this infected werewolf bite. When I finally wake from my fever dreams, I find out I’m not in Miami anymore. In fact, I’m not in the human world at all.
    Holy shit.
The people who’ve taken me underwing are part of a rebellion against the realm’s false queen, a woman who drove out and most likely murdered the entire royal family. I’m pretty impartial to all the politics, but the leader of the rebellion is giving Thane a run for his money on the hotness scale. And unlike the grim reaper, who I’m so unfortunately attracted to on a cosmic level, this new guy is very much alive.
None of that will matter if I don't help rescue my new friend Ivan from the mages’ clutches. Failing to do so means I may be stuck here...
    Forever.
Fans of Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunters, Ilona Andrews’s Hidden Legacy, or Seanan McGuire’s InCryptid series will find The Last Phoenix a delightful new addition to the Urban Fantasy genre. Continue the adventure today!
WINGS OF MAGIC is the 4th book of 7 in The Last Phoenix, an urban fantasy series containing fast-paced action, snarky humor, portal travel, a variety of shifters, a hearty dose of swearing, and a splash of slow-burn romance.
