Chase Walker is a man on a mission.
Convinced Grey Ridge is the home base for a criminal organisation, he plans to use his military experience and connections to help his sister's escape from the men who've captured them.
First, he has to get proof the Joneses are up to no good.
Hayley and Leah think they're in love and deliriously happy, Chase thinks they've been brainwashed. They won't leave without a fight.
Gathering the evidence he needs would be much easier if the local deputy, the beautiful but annoying as hell, Natalie Lennox, would get off her perfect backside to help him. Instead, she goes out of her way to hide the truth and he's determined to find out why.
When Chase, the local Luna's, human and extremely bossy, older brother blows into town, hell bent on unearthing the secrets all shifters want to stay hidden, Natalie tries to keep him from getting close, both to her and the truth. But this is a man who never gives up.
When things between them get too hot to handle, will Natalie be able to stay away? Or will she be the one to expose the town's secrets, and things about Chase that even he doesn't know.
The book is Dual POV, MF, wolf shifter, bear shifter romance, with enemies to lovers, fated mates and lots of heat!

I was in my garage when the space elves addressed the whole world.

They didn't call themselves space elves, of course. Most humans struggled to pronounce Khjurhnalva, so we opted for the easier version. They had a message for us: Forces that had eradicated their species' males were now heading for Earth.

Hungry for our resources, the alien hordes annihilate everything that stands in their way. The space elves offered us access to the System and asked for very little in return. After all, cooperation was vital to the survival of both our species.

I, Mathew Alexander Dunphy, know all of the above is bullshit. I saw the truth with my own eyes and heard it from their beautiful, delicate, deceitful mouths. No one believes me, though. They call me mad.

What reason could the space elves have to lie?

    Planet-wide-survival reality show?

    Ridiculous.

Don't miss the start of a fun new LitRPG series in a system apocalypse setting and featuring mad scientist powers, along with plenty of laughs. Oh, and killer aliens. Lots of em.

About the MAD world: Not all game-mechanic systems hand out levels, stats, and skills. Sometimes it offers super powers and leaves the progression up to the user. What is LitRPG without the fan-favorite blue boxes, though? Instead of STR, DEX, AGI, expect them to house crafting-based notifications.

The story is recounted by the protagonist, Count Antoine de C, in the first person. Hundreds of years ago, Antoine's noble ancestor was responsible for the death of a dark wizard, Michel Mauvais. The wizard's son, Charles le Sorcier, swore revenge on not only him but all his descendants, cursing them to die on reaching the age of 32. The protagonist recounts how his ancestors all died in some mysterious way around the age of 32. The line has dwindled and the castle has been left to fall into disrepair, tower by tower. Finally, Antoine is the only one left, with one poor servant, Pierre, who raised him, and a tiny section of the castle with a single tower is still usable. Antoine has reached adulthood, and his 32nd year is approaching. His servant eventually dies, leaving him completely alone, and he begins exploring the ruined parts of the castle. He finds a trapdoor in one of the oldest parts. Below, he discovers a passage with a locked door at the end. Just as he turns to leave, he hears a noise behind him and sees that the door is open and someone is standing in it. The man attempts to kill him but Antoine kills him first. His dying words reveal that he is none other than Charles, who actually managed to successfully fabricate the elixir of life, enabling him to personally fulfill the curse generation after generation.

Judge Knott, a determined teenager, has known only misery at the orphanage under the cruel watch of Mrs. Stiddums and Ms. Himhim. Life changes dramatically when he’s invited to Race Island — Be’Gaydon city — where the stakes are as high as the city’s treacherous, transforming streets that become racecourses.
Be’Gaydon is divided into five sections with twelve neighborhoods, each home to a fierce IronClub. These clubs compete in relentless races and brutal challenges, not just for glory but to secure vital resources—money, food, and supplies—for their neighborhoods. In this authoritarian city, competition is not just a game; it’s the only way to survive. Win or die.
As Judge embarks on his journey, mysterious events on the Harmony cruise threaten his path. Rooms are broken into, and things with dark secrets are stolen. Who is the Thief of Secrets? Amidst the chaos, Judge must embrace his heritage and tries to fulfill his parents’ legacy, even if it means risking his life.
Enter the race. Join a club. Race for your neighborhood. Or ride alongside Judge Knott. And change the game.
