Sinossi

What's Your Vision for a Perfect World?Recently, while doing a recycling workshop with a group of three and four-year-olds, I asked what they thought would make a perfect world. Their answers made sense to me--ice cream, pizza and chocolate. Then they tackled harder problems by coming up with great ideas to re-purpose containers often tossed away with little thought. Their ideas were bold and creative. The Perfect Gift, an interactive story, was written to remind them how special they are and the important role they play in creating a beautiful world."This delightful, interactive story invites readers and their parents (and grandparents, teachers, friends) to consider what makes a 'perfect world' while acknowledging it isn't always so. It encourages exploring options for less than perfect days, developing resilience and encouraging the love of family. The Perfect Gift is a great book for all ages." --Margaret Hill-Daniels (experienced mother, grandmother and counselor)"This is a good book because kids can draw from their imagination what a perfect world would look like. Their worlds will all be different, because all kids have different ideas in their heads. I wish I had this book."--Lucille Williard, age 5"I love The Perfect Gift! The message is clear and simple enough for children yet also poignant and inspiring for adults. It explains the simple truth that, despite our best intentions, life doesn't always go as planned. The book offers space for readers to generate ideas. By following the drawing and writing prompts, readers will discover internal strengths. They will find that, when they tap the creative visions that are alive within them, they can positively change how they feel and how they react to what's going on around them. The Perfect Gift is given when this book is read and experienced together." --Jan Thrope, LSW, community activist

Long ago, before shimmering cities and humming machines, there was water. It flowed in rivers, danced in the rain, and filled the oceans—a silent, steady force that carried life in every droplet. For centuries, humanity has respected this precious gift, but as time passed, it was forgotten. The rivers grew polluted, the lakes dried up, and the rain became a rare visitor. Then, one day, something unimaginable happened: the water began to disappear. In "The Day Water Vanished: A Drop of Life," embark on a poignant journey to a world where the most essential element vanishes. Witness the Earth’s quiet sorrow as her rivers slow to a trickle, her lakes vanish, and even the vast oceans retreat. Follow the plight of a little fish struggling in a polluted river, the thirst of animals in dry fields, and the confusion of people as their faucets run dry. But this is not just a story of loss—it’s a story of rediscovery. It’s about remembering the first drop of water that touched the Earth, bringing life to a barren world. It’s about understanding the interconnectedness of all living things and the vital role water plays in our existence. And it’s about a promise: a promise to cherish this gift, to share it with every creature, and to ensure that this never happens again. "The Day Water Vanished" is a timeless fable that resonates with readers of all ages. It’s a gentle reminder of the profound importance of water and a powerful call to action. Join the journey, learn the Earth’s lesson of love and respect, and discover how, together, we can keep the flow of life alive.

“A raw and honest journey of addiction, love, trauma, and redemption—grounded in a deep love of place and all things mustang. The best memoirs reveal the deeply personal in order to see the larger world with renewed clarity and insight—this is one such book. As Wilder moves from heroin to horses, we see a substantive journey of recovery and strength—and ultimately, of resilience.” —LAURA PRITCHETT, author of Stars Go Blue
“For too long, the lone cowboy myth has corralled the American West in the barbed wires of dominion and destruction. Tangled in that telling are women and mustangs—their wildness, togetherness, and vulnerability. In Desert Chrome, Wilder bucks against a story as desiccated as the deserts she has dwelled in—kicking hard enough to free what was bound, to redeem what was broken. Listen now, to the thundering of hearts and hooves. They’re coming for us, at last.” —AMY IRVINE, author of Air Mail and Desert Cabal
“Desert Chrome journeys through parched valleys, on wild rivers, and into deep rock canyons on a unique quest. In this authentic, hard-won account of her life, Wilder finds the warm, true hearts she’s been seeking and that deserve our humanity, healing, and a hell of a lot better future than they’ve been dealt. There’s a quiet heroine at the center of this story, yes, pointing toward a beautiful world. It can be ours if we’ll love better, lean closer, and listen to the voices, like Wilder’s own, well worth heeding from birth.” —REBECCA LAWTON, author of The Oasis This Time
“A powerful coming-of-age story, into the age of a woman’s strongest power, when, with complete awareness of her past, she can, with might and strength, will the future before her. Wilder writes with all the love, wisdom, and courage it takes to make positive changes for the western landscape, horses, and readers.” —CMARIE FUHRMAN, author of Camped Beneath the Dam

After the demise of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Muslims were divided regarding whom they should follow as their political and religious leader. The Sunnis followed the Prophet’s companions whilst the Shias followed the 12 Holy Imams chosen by God. The Shia Imams were from the lineage of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from his only surviving daughter, Lady Fatimah (SA). Successive Shia Imams lived amongst the Muslims for generations and guided them to the true Islamic teachings of the Prophet. All of the Shia Imams were respected by the Muslims for their spirituality, divine knowledge, and being the progeny of the Prophet. The Imams were a symbol of resistance against the injustice and oppression of the Umayyads and the Abbasids. As a result, the Imams endured many calamities and hardships. They were harassed, imprisoned, and martyred by the Umayyad and the Abbasid caliphs. This book reviews the lives of these 12 Holy Imams and provides an overview of their religious, social, and political achievements. Please visit our website at www.12shiaimams.com to find more about the Shia Imams including our recent videos.

Attraction is measured not only by how a man appears, but also by his confidence and strength. Women tend to favor the cognitive aspect of attraction over the physical one when choosing a partner. Men are afraid to embrace their masculinity because they think it involves aggression, when that is incorrect, and they think acting aggressively is what attracts women. Women are attracted to men who can solve problems in more sophisticated ways rather than using violence.
Women do favor a muscular physical appearance over an unfit one, because it shows a man is healthy and hard-working, which are desirable traits. In addition to muscularity, working out has lots of benefits such as boosting your immune system and increasing bone density.
When choosing a hairstyle, pick one that looks good and that you feel good about. Short to medium hair is recommended, as long hair tends to require lots of grooming and makes you look feminine. Going bald in no way means that you are no longer attractive. Bald men are often seen as more masculine than men with hair, and they consistently are ranked higher in terms of attractiveness. Women also view having facial hair as intriguing and sexy. Facial hair is correlated with masculinity and maturity, as well as high levels of dominance and assertiveness. Having facial hair is the equivalent of a peacock fanning out its feathers to attract a mate.
According to a study published in the British Journal of Urology, penis sizes vary ever so slightly, aside from the extremely large and extremely small, which are exceptions to the rule. Women tend to favor an average size penis over a larger one.
