Sinossi

The book of Exodus is the story of a people — their deliverance from bondage, their encounter with God at Sinai, and their becoming His dwelling place. In this study drawn from Bible teachings shared at Halford House in Richmond, Surrey, Lance Lambert traces the movement of Exodus from its opening names to its closing glory: the cloud covering the tent of meeting and the glory of Jehovah filling the tabernacle.
Lambert unfolds the book's two-fold key — redemption and the house of God — showing that these can never be separated. Redemption is the means; the house of God is the end. As he writes: "God has redeemed us with a tremendous goal in view. Nothing short of it can satisfy God, or inherit His glory."
This volume includes both Lance's full teaching on Exodus and his personal study guide, which he compiled later in life as a companion to the series. Together they offer a thorough and spiritually rich foundation for understanding not only this book of the Pentateuch, but God's unchanging purpose through the ages.
Part of the Through the Bible series. Scripture quotations from the American Standard Version 1901.
