Summary

Apprentice magician Talisman Morning has always been lucky. It's a problem.
Talis knows his luck is a magical talent -- but he can't control it. And good luck for him can mean bad luck for other people, and a lot of trouble. He's beginning to wonder whether he belongs with the magicians at all, or whether he should give up and run away ... until he meets a royal guard who asks for his help.
King's guard Jeryn de Machaut could use a magician. He thinks he's overheard a plot against the king, but he has no evidence and no support. But a wayward apprentice with a knack for being in the right place -- and stumbling over hidden objects -- might be exactly the luck Jer needs.
Together, Jer and Talis will uncover a palace conspiracy, save a king, and find their own best chance at love.

    Lucas
To my dad, Hunter King is a football prodigy destined for greatness.
    The son he always wanted.
To me, Hunter King is the guy I’ve loved most of my life.
The guy who happens to be my dead brother’s boyfriend.
We were kids when Hunter came into our lives—the boy with the skill my brother didn’t have and the drive I lacked. The one who was always kind to me, who cared about my photography when, to my dad, it was a hobby, not worth anyone’s time.
Looking at the world through the lens of my camera is the only thing I’ve ever wanted.
    Other than Hunter King.
    Hunter
I would be nothing without the Blakes. Coach Blake nurtured my football talent from high school through college and now professionally. For all intents and purposes, he was my father. And when I started dating his son Ellis, it felt like I truly became part of the family.
But since Ellis died, nothing feels right anymore—not even the game I’ve always loved.
Until Lucas walks back into my life.
With each lingering touch, I feel sensation returning. Every kiss breathes air into my lungs. And for the first time in three years, it feels like my heart starts beating again.
But with every embrace, I’m betraying Ellis’s memory. The media, my team, Coach Blake will all condemn me. I’ll no longer be their Comeback King. I’ll be the man who is sleeping with his dead boyfriend’s brother.
Yet none of it is enough to make me stop.
The Comeback King is the first book in a new series. You can expect big feels and a secret relationship with pining and learning to love after loss.

    Rush
When I show up to surprise my boyfriend in a barely-there festive outfit, I’m expecting him to be alone.
    Not hosting family.
    His fiancé’s family.
Down one boyfriend and up a lot of embarrassment, I flee with my tail between my legs. The broken heart will fade. My humiliation, not so much, but my saving grace is the fact that I never have to see either of them ever, ever again.
Until I walk into work and come face to face with my new boss.
    Hunter
I never, in a million years, would have guessed the man hiding under his desk at work would be the one person I hoped to never see again.
    My ex-fiancé’s side piece.
Apparently I can’t fire the guy because of personal issues, so I try to play nice, which is a whole lot harder to do when I find out my ex is still texting Rush. The same ex I haven’t heard from since I walked out on his begging.
Rush tells me he didn’t know about me. He tells me there were others. He also tells me our ex still wants him and so, we come up with a plan. To show him what it feels like when you want someone who doesn’t want you back.
All we need is a camera. His number. And one shared kiss.
    Revenge has never been sweeter.

The Naked Gardening Day stories are a collaboration between Holly Day, Nell Iris, A.L. Lester, K.L. Noone, and Amy Spector. They comprise five MM romance novellas featuring being naked in a garden somehow, somewhere, to mark World Naked Gardening Day on the first Saturday of May.

But will they ever be able to agree about the garden?

Will they get their happily ever after?

The Death of Digby Catch by Amy Spector: When August Catch arrives at the Arachne's Loom estate to collect his late Uncle Digby's things, he is thrown together with Theo Webb, the heir to the Webb family fortune. The attraction is instant. The Hermit of Aldershill Manor by K.L. Noone: Charlie's ready to start a new job and life at Aldershill Manor. As a historian, he's thrilled to dive into the archives. And he can run from a messy break-up. And explore lovely gardens, too. Lionel does not like tourists, conversations, or social niceties. But he loves his job: helping beauty grow. When he finds the new historian caught in a storm, he offers shelter, which might bloom into more.

Warning! Deep Water by A.L. Lester: Spring 1947. England has just come through the worst winter in living memory. Peter's been drifting since he left the army a year ago. Can two misfits find a way to fit together with someone after all?
