Sinossi

In the journey of life, doubt can often be the biggest obstacle standing in the way of our success and happiness. It is a universal human experience to doubt ourselves at some point in our lives. But why do we as humans doubt ourselves? Understanding the roots of our self-doubt is the first step in overcoming it. One of the main reasons we doubt ourselves is fear. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of not being good enough - these fears can paralyze us and prevent us from taking risks or pursuing our dreams.

However, once we have acknowledged and confronted our doubts, we pave the way for a powerful transformation to occur - the transformation from doubt to belief in oneself. When we reach the point where doubt no longer holds us back, where we have conquered the inner voice that whispers of our limitations and insecurities, we stand at a crossroads. It is at this pivotal moment that we must make a conscious choice to embrace a new perspective - one of unwavering self-belief and confidence. Believing in oneself is not about being arrogant or overly confident. It is about recognizing and honoring the unique strengths, talents, and potential that lie within each of us.

    ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK
"Sh*t My Dad Says," by Justin Halpern, is a humorous memoir that chronicles the author's experience moving back in with his blunt and often outrageous father after a breakup. The book is structured around a collection of the father's unfiltered pronouncements on a wide range of topics, from dating and relationships to work and life philosophy. The father's crass yet comical observations, often laced with profanity, offer a refreshingly honest perspective on life's absurdities. Beyond the humor, the book explores the complexities of family dynamics, revealing the underlying love and support beneath the father's gruff exterior. Justin, through a series of anecdotes, learns valuable life lessons from his father's unconventional wisdom and unwavering honesty.

We broke our new series on learning Norwegian down into different learning stages. Start with the "Lower Beginner" books followed by the "Beginner" and "Upper Beginner" books. Next, progress to the "Intermediate" series, then test and reinforce your knowledge with the "Conversations" series.
This audiobook is divided into units. While it provides different learning patterns and accommodates various needs, this audiobook focuses on helping you improve your ability to understand, speak, and memorise Norwegian.
In Unit 1 you will hear Norwegian decoded with each syllable spoken very slowly and clearly with repetition. Immediately before each sentence is spoken, you will hear the translation, so you will always understand what is being said.
Unit 2 focuses solely on increasing your listening ability, which will improve your abilities to engage in dialogue with a native Norwegian speaker. This chapter requires you to listen very carefully to nuances in the language.
By Unit 3 you will already notice progress in your abilities to speak and understand Norwegian. The spoken translation is followed by two repetitions in Norwegian at a completely natural speed. While you are learning to process naturally spoken Norwegian, Units 3 and 4 will help you memorise new vocabulary and full sentences.
In Unit 5 you can test yourself on how much you have learned. If you are having difficulties, we suggest you revisit the listening, speaking, or memorisation section of Units 1, 2 3 or 4, according to what you need more help with.
