They were married for a few months. She lost their baby...or so he thought. Rex Johnson knows he's the loudest brother. He doesn't even try to hide it, because he has plenty of other secrets he's never told anyone. Not his parents. Not his brothers. No one. He was only married for four months. No one needs to know. Especially because it was five years ago, and Rex hasn't heard from Holly Roberts since she left for work one day and never came back to their apartment. She filed for divorce the next day, and Rex's whole world fell apart. One day at a time... He's done a decent job of putting himself back together after he returned to Chestnut Springs and the family ranch. But when he has a chance encounter with a little girl after his brother's wedding, he comes face-to-face with Holly again. Oh no. And who is that girl? Holly's terrified to tell Rex that the little girl is their daughter, but she does. In and out of treatment facilities, Holly's been suffering from depression and doing the best she can as a mom. She's been slowly putting her life back together one piece at a time, and when Rex tells her if she leaves Chestnut Springs, he'll call the cops, she decides to stay. It's time to stop running anyway. Can Holly and Rex reconcile their differences and build a family with their daughter?Mostra libro
A multitude of secret paths and trails exist in the world of Waldyra. Some of them lead to places that can only be described as "non-canonical." Those are always extremely well-concealed and almost impossible to find. Should anyone succeed in setting their foot on such a path, they'd be warned about doing it at their own peril. Orbit has found one of these secret ways. It is another trail that bypasses the grim black gates and leads directly to the divine inferno known as Tantariall. The brave heroes of the Brotherhood will see much on their journey, and some of those things will be outrageously insane. Even Orbit will have to admit that such sights had only been seen by the so-called "primers" previously—the legendary first testers of Waldyra. Obsessed with his goal, Orbit leads the heroes to an area called Purgamentum. They find themselves forced to take on the roles of the long-gone primers, and the dark underbelly of the bright world of Waldyra readily swallows up the Brotherhood of the Trail.Mostra libro

Moklins are the friendliest aliens humans ever encountered. They LOVE humans, and want to imitate them in every way they can. There might be one little problem though. Just a tiny thing that will cause the humans to leave in a very big hurry. Not that it will do any good of course. The Moklins love us.Mostra libro
Throughout the long centuries of human history is the want, and the need, to share information, to exchange ideas and for that knowledge and experience, for curiosity and learning, to be the basis of a civil society. In literature the ambition is much narrower. In order to be known, to be popular, you had to be published. And for that people had to know you existed and your ideas worth reading. Obviously for most of humanity’s time people couldn’t read and texts couldn’t be published in any great number. In the 15th Century Gutenberg’s printing press began the revolution to address the second and by the 19th century had gathered pace with startling speed and mass distribution. Education for the many was brought in to help people understand more of their world and, with new skills, how to have a better place within it. Now, if the powers that owned the presses and means of distribution agreed an audience would now be able to avail themselves of your ideas, your printed words. In this volume we offer up a small selection of talents from the literary landscape of the North American male author whose time has now come again.Mostra libro
Delmak-O is a dangerous planet. Though there are only 14 citizens, no one can trust anyone else and death can strike at any moment. The planet is vast and largely unexplored, populated mostly by gelatinous cube-shaped beings that give cryptic advice in the form of anagrams. Deities can be spoken to directly via a series of prayer amplifiers and transmitters, but they may not be happy about it. And the mysterious building in the distance draws all the colonists to it, but when they get there each sees a different motto on the front. The mystery of this structure and the secrets contained within drive this mind-bending novel.Mostra libro
